He clearly needs to calm down. Gündo , despite many negative opinions on here , is as cold as ice and knows what he is doing.

Sterling's best asset is his speed but sometimes it works against him - especially one on ones with the goalie.

If he was an actor I think he'd have a headache and vomit just before going on stage, forget a few lines, but still give a good performance. Possibly puts too much pressure on himself and in certain situations is close to giving himself a heart attack which isn't nice to see. Hope he calms down.

Sounds like me internally, maybe I should give him a break.

He has his faults, he is a great lad top pro and his overall numbers are amazing, yes he is not a natural finisher or relaxed enough to knock in penalties. Do I want him on the last pen to win a shootout NO. But he is a top player who could improve if the penny dropped on being more relaxed. Same for Jesus.

Funnily enough when he was the last man in a shootout the last time, he put it in the top corner. :)

After he missed the 2 pens at Wolves he was unlucky with a free kick in the last minute.

Not a great first half but everyone was pretty poor to be honest. Though he made a great run to win the penalty.

Great second half. Kept hounding TAA and was a constant threat.

He’ll have loved scoring at Anfield too.

how many times did he just stop and play the easy ball backwards?
brilliant when he can just play on instinct, verging on useless when he has time to think.

What would you have preferred him do whilst isolated with 2-3 defenders on him?

That's a fair point. There was a lot of that yesterday. Break the lines but keep possession. Im never going to be his biggest fan, but credit where it's due yesterday

That second half was up there with his best 45 minutes in a City shirt. His decision making was far better and he had TAA on the back foot everytime.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Exactly, like Pep was saying about Foden a while ago, he had to learn when to play it safe and when to go for it, game management.

Yesterday highlighted what a genius Pep is and makes him stand out more than any manager in the world . Little tactical weeks here and there and the subtle little changes at half time totally put us on the front front foot after surviving the first half dipper pressing . Bringing on Gab Jesus to press high late on totally destroyed a tiring dipper team and possibly destroyed Alissons career .
Awesome results awesome 2nd half performance awesome manager.

Razzer becomes only the 3rd player to score 100 goals under stewardship of Pep.......... the other 2 being Sergio Aguero & Lionel Messi....

He loses the ball more now than ever before...some just cannot see it and brush it under the carpet.

People defend him because ''everyone'' played poorly that first half...well I'm sorry , but 350 k a week players are supposed to drag other players up a notch when performances are low....and also , wasn't he the supposed Captain yesterday ?..if so..diabolical.

Anyway ..yes he played well in the second half and deserves credit for it but players like him need to be performing for the full 90 and not just the 45.

Why didn't he change it in the first half ? I have always wondered about this.

The dippers were always there for the taking , having been shit for most of the season. I knew PeP would change it the second half but why wait till then ?

There is obviously a reason for it.

He lost the ball 15 times, exact same number of times as Foden.
