We should win by 10 nil
Against good teams sterling needs 509 chances to stick one in THATS TRUE.
We need Haaland THATS TRUE
Why is Laporte playing

Save and paste for next match thread to save us hearing it again, seems to be working, 18 wins in a row, carry on the trend we should make it 19 wins

I get it Jesus is no Haaland HE IS LIKE VASSELL THOUGH
Sterling is no Ronaldo
Laporte is no Maldini

We're doing ok do far

We are but we cannot miss those chances that we will NOT get against a top team.....we didnt even manage the chance we got against Lyon FFS...and thats what is being said today..........you need to bury your chances and Sterling and Jesus are not the answer.

I hope Aguero stays fit till the end of this comp...we need him...Sterling can provide the passes ect and stay well clear of one on ones...Jesus can just help at a back of office or something useful.

It's a different game against top teams.
This game City played in second gear, because they knew that's all they needed to do.
As the opposition get better, so does City's performance.

And anyway, this European stuff is still boring.

Sorry for being positive.....

One save in the 93rd minute

Clean sheet

Not conceded in chumps league since our first game back in September.

I don't see anything changing in second leg to suggest we won't progress, unless we get robbed by UEFA cheating (but it's ok as that will be sterlings fault too no doubt).

Bernardo MOTM?

Nigel's Tickle will now not be seen here again until approximately 12:37 on Saturday. He used to contribute regularly to this forum, but whilst the world has been fighting covid, he's been off and contracted mad fucking cows disease somehow.

Lets hope Sergio can get back to his best because we wont win this competition without a proper centre forward in form.

How do you do it Beefy ? whats the secret to your happy clappy football watching experience no matter how shit we play or how many fuck ups in front of goal ?

I would certainly not have used the word amazing to describe anything in this match,..yet there you are.....)) amazing.

Ha ha ha, it all depends on what you see. This team has been SUPERB this season and even the media has had to concede the fact.

I’ll complain when needed and point out issues when I see them but, as I do with my guys, I try to do things right and instead of complaining, point out where I think they can be doin things better rather than point out where I hint they’re going wrong.

And last, I grew up on the steps of the North Stand, latterly the Kippax, and didn’t give a fuck about the score. All I cared about were the people around me. City have always been a social club for me, and even though I I’m too far away to get to regular games whenever I do get back I get to meet up with at least someone I know.

Summary. We didn’t always win games, nothing changes for me.

To answer your concerns, we got Dias, something we never had before.

Shows how bad the Champions League is when all eight away teams win the first leg of this round.

There have been a lot of really good performances lately. Hard to separate them but great to see we’re getting the most of every position.

Jesus is so weak. Looks physically strong but he's powder puff. Sterling's first touch is generally horrendous. Other than that, we are a machine. Get Haaland, retain Kun, we'll dominate.
