Shame the BBC couldn’t uncover the BBC letting a nonce molest kids for years.

They did not have to uncover it, they knew all about it and banned Johnny Rotten when he referred to it in a TV interview.

Well now is the time for us all to wake up isn't it.
Motivation or lack of it is usually the force that drives actually doing something or not.
Lets face it nearly every organisation is or allows corruption.
Every organisation is also made up of people. People who are inclined to say Yes rather than face consequences/ job loss.
Politicos and people in orgs who climb ladders are very good at saying Yes.

Motivation to do something is very high right now, it is time to look at all this as an opportunity 64 and not as a given situation that we cannot do anything about.
Hiding stuff, not standing up, inability to say No, has led to where we are now in a sorry state.
Personally I’m old school I would have a fucking revolution tomorrow just like we used to do to get rid off shit politicians , shit organisations and shit football club chairman ( Swales) .

There is a massive opportunity like no other to start to pull this all apart and do what is necessary.

Totally agree.
Problem is we have a diabolical corrupt UK government propped up by a corrupt media and laws brought in that make noisy protests illegal by said current corrupt UK government. All because your average UK voter doesn’t give two fucks and is bone idle to what has gone on and now the daily unfolding latest corruption scandal of which effects everyone whether it be household bills , sport or just genocide a stones throw from the European border .

Not into politics and just an observation.
I do not know if the end justifies the means but AFAIK every country will look after it's own interests and will stop at nothing if they feel threatened.
NATO bombed hospitals, schools and civil infrastructure in the former Yugoslavia in 1999.
Just like Russia, USA, China, Syria, Middle Eastern countries, African conflicts, etc...
Sadly, that is the way all human beings behave IMO.

Well political threads are best off-topic. So my last comment on this is i agree 100% about the Govt etc. But i also believe it is too easy an exercise to blame govts etc, offset the blame whatever you want to call it. We have to DO something about it. There has never been a better time for a root and branch reset of how we go about governing ourselves. I believe we deserve better, but we have to show that appetite. It isn't just govts either, from the perspective of efficiency the majority of organisations, corporations and businesses are run very badly, primarily due to a corrupt culture that can only seem to say Yes even in the face of clear as day duff ideas, outright bias, self interest, bullying, to name a few.

This is worthy of an off-topic thread imo. But it would get nowhere if posters just fall into line along current political divides. That stuff is fucking ancient history and about as useful as a WW1 battleship stuck in lake windermere trying to call the shots in a global conflict.

We have to move on and we have to align argument around problem solving. As it stands we are not even the cleverest Apes.

You hit the nail on the head in your last paragraph. Murdoch and Bannon exploited a bone idle society around a decade ago and now we are where we are ( those into there politics will know exactly but sadly those who don’t give two fucks won’t ie who Bannon and Murdoch put into power far right politics etc anyway enough of that ) . Decades ago we used to kick off and protest to get rid of shite politicians, organisations and shit football chairmen (Swales) society had bollocks back then . Maybe history will repeat itself? I hope so !

Is it just me, but the more I hear people talk, the more I hope Chelsea will somewhat manage to survive this?

Read the Middlesbrough chairman now with some odd words.
Really the vultures are all over this.

I find most of the talk revolved around politics in football, ie. Does it affect my team.

I’m fairly sure that the Russian people are suffering more. We are trying to force a change but many, especially outside of Moscow, et al, will not have the info we have.

Not much analysis, just agree that Putin and his kleptocrat’s are cunts.

BBC reporting Roman flew to Moscow yesterday in his private jet after ordering his multi million yacht into Turkish waters to avoid EU sanctions. Looks like Putin has invited him into his bunker.

So the lass in the office who spuds season ticket holder just sent me the following trying to convince to sign by "if it works, you're club get a Champs league trophy out of it"

I said even if it did work then every cunt would tell us we cheated our way to it. Also its the sort of thing the Rag cunts would do without batting an eyelid
