Watched City since 1972 born 1964 a True Blue. As good as I've seen. Top opposition, very good team.

MOTM is impossible.

Bernardo for me.

Stones.
Dias.
KDB.
Grealish.
Ake.
Gundogan.

All outstanding. Fuck me, even Akanji was excellent.

That was one of the very best sides in European football and 3-0 is beyond my expectations. We’re not there yet but it will be hard for Bayern to recover. We’re well capable of scoring a goal or two in Munich. The players looked exhausted and they’ll have to go again against Leicester but that’s for another day. Proud of every one of them.

You've seen City in the CL. We all have. I won't stop being scared until I see us somehow lifting that trophy, and even then I'll start living in fear that UEFA will rescind it for some bullshit reason.

I think B2W is one of our younger posters (poss sub 30?), so may not realise some supporters cannot shake the "typical City" mantra.

My oldest brothers default is that mentality he is 65 this year so I can fully get some still have it.

I was nervous at 1-0, wanted 2-0 but thought they might get one as we were dominant but kept coming away from real chances with nothing but 3-0 was beyond my expectation. I bet anyone on here would have taken that before the game. Only worry is KDB, but we've shown we can do it without him before. I'm looking at the treble but only whispering it. I've been on this forum for years and only just got the username/password conundrum sorted recently. I've seen lots of posters / players come and go. This is a time to unite and get us over the line. We will be mocked if we don't win the champions league, we should have done it against Chelsea, we were a miles better team. Let's hope Pep realises that and we get through the next game and if it's Real we don't capitulate last minute. Don't forget, we deserve this! We have been the best team in the prem for a while. The treble and triple Pl winners would put us ahead of whiskey nose rags. I'm excited! CTID

My lad’s down for the week and said to him I wouldn’t be relaxed until we had 2 more. Silly traits from the old school, I’ve very much changed from the old days.

Yes, very much a defence mechanism. It is a shame that some Blues can’t enjoy the moment for what it is, though. I’m absolutely overjoyed at the way we played and the best bit is I feel there is more to come from this team.

Happy clapper me.

I wish mate. I think this is a night to put aside whingeing and negativity and appreciate one of City’s great victories. By the way we’ve won three out of the last four PL titles so typical Cityis a bit dated. Of course we can lose a big match as can any team but we’ve set a superb standard under Pep.

At beginning of the game, cunts on BT gave it large that bayern had a 100% win rate this chumps league season.... oh dear that's a stat the cunts cannot use in the second leg.

Imperious performance.

There's almost a sense of frustration that we didn't go for the fourth. But we all would have taken this result pre game.

Weren’t they all saying that we couldn’t cope with their pace?

Mate not disagreeing with you, j still get nervous like all of us, but some like my brother, we could have smashed them 5 or 6 and he would still consider we could fuck it up.

City lost last season because of the missed chances at the Etihad , not in Madrid. The Madrid game should have been irrelevant.
