No surprises what so ever in Madrid, sounds like only a couple of players have put a shift in

Not even bothered if I’m honest as pep has been an embarrassment this season - he’s done IMO.

On the plus side , I had so much fun with my golden in the garden !

I'm glad we were so shit because it was pretty obvious from the way both legs were officiated that had it been closed, we weren't being allowed through.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Tonight has absolutely nothing to do with Ederson. The guilty are Sav, Gundo Foden and Bernie......absolutely no effort or spirit from them whatsoever. I for one will be very happy if none of them are on the team sheet against the murderers.

Team are completely over the hill. Gundo, Bernado, Kev and Foden's decided to join them in playing like an old man. That's basically our entire midfield along with Rodri being out all season
Just needs a complete refresh.
Can't blame Pep, he's hardly going to get rid of a bunch of players who've just won four league titles in a row, but with hindsight it was a huge misjudgement.
We just need to play the new signings and get their feet under the table, and make sure we get top four.
And there's still the cup.
Also, having won it, I've lost interest in the European stuff again.

Didn't watch tonight as was at the circus.

Sounds like a similar thing in Madrid?

The game was lost in midfield. Rico was alone there. Gundo likes to waltz around with the ball. Since he came back he has been a disaster. Foden , well not a dominant midfielder. went missing again tonight. Bernie tries his best but not there anymore. Whilst not being the fastest , nevertheless , Kovacic will run at packed defences (and try something). Too many alibi passes and no one (midfielders) wants to take the game by the scruff of the neck.

When you conceed in the first three minutes because your gk is out of position for the 21231 in his career here, after throwing the ball into an opponent last week when we had the momentum, it kills your game plan. And a team so fragile mentally as us, something like that is like putting cement into our boots.

Worse.
For me the worse I've seen all season. If Madrid needed 11, they would have scored 13 just for the fun of it.

When you go one down, you need someone to stand up and inspire and get back into it with effort and skill and leadership. There was none of that tonight and Stones bottled it, just like KDB has in ALL our big European games. And most of all you need your boss making the calls, the right ones....and nothing de nada, no management of the situation. I'm appalled by tonight, there was nothing, zilch, embarrassing. Goodbye Pep, another "Special One" going to the dogs via their narcissism and egotism. Next !

Pep has won one champions league in last 13 years.

In meantime, Carlo Ancelotti has won it 3 times during the same period, possibly 4 if he wins it this season.

Fair but the stick pep gets with having "the best" look at carlo!

Goes from two best midfielders in the world kroos and modric (who we battered) PLUS all of the drcisions to mbappe and bellend

Also we should have at LEAST 2, possivly 3

Id say carlo has under achieved from those stats..

He's one of the reasons we went into the 2nd leg a goal down so I wouldn't say he had absolutely nothing to do with tonight. Presented Mbappe with pretty much an open net by being in no mans land in the third minute. As great as his kicking and distribution sometimes is, I have zero confidence in him as a last line of defence. This tie has been a shit show from pretty much everyone across the two legs.

Zidane also won it 3 times on the trot...won 11 trophies in 5 years as a manager and spent 340 million pounds in total.

This got me to think about the lineup for this match. Why not start with 2 dm’s meaning starting Kova alongside Nico. We are the weaker team here playing away, so why not park the bus and depend on fast and tricky attackers : Marmoush, Savio and Doku (with some service from Ederson) to get something which in the worst case could have got us to extra time and penalty kicks ?
But that’s only me thinking, I’m not the “ genius” that Pep is !

Well I’m glad that’s all over for this season. A distraction we’r we aren’t capable of focusing on at all. We were never ever going to win it this season and getting 4th is very very much the most important thing note to keep our momentum, particularly with financial implications, spending, charges rolling etc. everyone will be watching and we don’t want our hands being tied by dropping out of the chumps league.

I’m ok if Pep goes. If we can get Alonso in the summer I’d take that. The club seems tired/exhausted of the intensity. We’ve been spoilt, it’s been the greatest era, we’ve won every single thing worth winning. We’ve set records even we won’t beat. But I’m okay not watching 2 more years of this. Fresh ideas, fresh motivation and energy are needed now. Pep usually burnt out after 3 years, he’s been here 3 times that and it’s showing now.

I have a feeling he might want to prove everyone wrong and win the prem again at least but he doesn’t need to, I think the time is right.
