Are you aware of the historic significance of Bootle to City's history?
They were the 1st team we ever played in the old Alliance in 1891-92 as Ardwick. We drew 3-3 at Hyde Road.
In the away fixture later in the season, Ardwick lost 1-2.....It may have taken a while but I suppose revenge is sweet.
