He has around 47k security if he stays in Manchester, heheh. They'd have to get past his army.

Just as a side note, do the visiting supporters get in any form of trouble for their reaction? Whilst Ade was a bit foolish for doing it, you would have though x thousand grown men would be able to deal with it a bit better than lobbing stuff on the pitch. The players have to put up with a certain amount, so should the fans.

TBH we have not heard the last off this, Arse face will make a big deal of this. The press and Sky will make a big deal of this, they don't want the big for upset.

Why was van Persie not booked for running over to the City fans to celebrate his goal?

great structure, good control, solid length - the only question mark is over style: you can set your watch by it sure, but a bit 90s.

I miss this standout performer:

Four things

1/ I thought Ade's goal celebration totally lacked class.

2/ I thought Arse fans were better than this but today I've seen they have even less class. In my view they're no better than rags and tottscum supporters

3/ I can't see how any further action can be taken against the player as the ref has seen the incident and dealt with it.

4/ I know nothing about the stamping incident, can someone please enlighten me

Robin van Persie has issued the following statement following an incident with Emmanuel Adebayor at Saturday's game:

"I am sad and disappointed by my former team-mate Emmanuel Adebayor's mindless and malicious stamp on me during today's match.

"We are both professional footballers and I know that the game is physical, I too have made hard and sometimes mis-timed challenges but never with the intention of hurting an opponent. He set out to hurt me today.

"I knew he was aiming for a collision because he changed the angle of his body to allow contact to be made. He moved backwards when his natural momentum would have taken him forward. I find that deeply disrespectful. He has shown a real lack of class today, to me and the fans.

"I do feel lucky that I have not suffered a greater injury. The contact was only centimetres from my eye. I have not received an apology from him, there were no words exchanged afterwards. He had his own agenda today and that is bad for football. It's bad for the game we all love.

"I want to make it clear that this has nothing to do with the result of today's match. We do not hide from that disappointment but I need to speak out about his behaviour."

He's a spoit little tw@t!

Dissapointing that a so called 'Proffessional' would try to get a former colleague in trouble AFTER the game! Shit Faced cunt!

Anyway, still firmly believe that he'll get some sort of punishement for the celebration infront of thier fans, but if he gets anything more than a fine and a warning then the FA need fucking smacking!

maybe lacking class,...but overflowing with blue passion!...love the celebration and think he more than deserved to get the shit he's taken from those fuclers off his chest,...would deffo be wrong if FA took action over it after the booking.....stamp didn't look too bab TBH,....rewally really enjoyed the celebration though! watched it about 20 times now
