Just a quick thank you for the kind words. Seems it was a good decision about a year ago to start these posts and I glad they go down well. I am just lucky to live close and not have work to worry about anymore.

A rest next week and yes I hate the international weeks and I don't think they have helped City " get together" as well as they could have. Back the following Monday I would guess but not sure.

Quailty reportage as per.

Can't say I'm surprised at Ireland being the most standout player compatibility wise, with Tevez or any other skilful player, given his touch and vision and having seen the way he seemed to dovetail so effectively with Robinho from day one. Top players should be able to link well with other good players straight away on most levels. When the understanding develops further it'll be even better.

Even just in the last game though, I noticed a couple of instances where communication seemed to be a problem with Tev and a team mate or two (can't remember who now). Whether this was down to language or not I dunno, but not learning the lingo of the country you live and work in is a bit daft no matter what if you ask me. Which nobody did, but still...

Sorry but I draw the line at being compared to Motty. I think he is way way past his sell by and should have been put out to pasture years ago. Hmmm ok the comparison isnt far off but I still think he is dreadful.
