i gave it to de jong but tevez ran him close,
they were all brilliant, the intensity they played at won us the game.
we need to show the same intensity week in week out and well be just fine.
to go 1-0 down and beat them is a massive result,

De Jong was unbelievable - but Shay won us the game

I was gutted when they got called a pen - but then I remembered who we had in goal and i believed - the man is immense and he stopped that twats unbeaten penalty taking record before he had even taken the shot

Went for De Jong, quality performance.

Could easily have gone for several others though - was a great team effort.

I think Tevez just shaded it, because of his goal and all-round effort
De Jong ran him close, though, for his all-round contribution, although his passing was a bit below par today

NDJ was awesome but I went for Lescott due to the fact that he`s been villified for his recent performances and the pressure he must have felt he was under going into this game knowing who he was up against edged it for me.

De Schlong was a monster today!!!!! I thought Micah was oustanding until he came off, lescott for me had his best game as a city player, and Givens penalty save made him a contender for MOM..... also Barry was awesome!!!!

Richards for me. Got in front of anything that was thrown at him and worked well with SWP.
I'm just glad he wasn't the one who gave the pen away because I fear he would have been shot on site by certain people.

Ya know what m8..Ive slated Micah in the past and most of it was deserved. The most important thing for me is a player that gets his head down, trains hard as hell, gets back in the squad and does the bizz.Thats good enough for anyone.

Don't get me wrong Shawzy, I'll slate any player that has a bad game as much as the next person. And we have a right as paying supporters to do exactly that. But I'm talking about the people that say, to quote "We need to fuck him off asap". There the people that go to a match and sit there moaning when we're 5-0 up!
I agree with your post as well about training hard, keeping your head down and all.

Spot on bud.All players deserve abit of stick if they aint performing..Its not just Micah who deserves some praise..Lescott and De Jong have had abit of stick 2.Its great when ya come on here and struggle to decide who MOM is...Thats a credit to the whole squad.
Anyway im half cut now and off to a school reunion so gonna stop my drunken rambles.Going to celebrate in style about this weeks achievments..Semi final and a win over Chelsea...A perfect week for me.

Can I have 'The Full Team' option because I didn't actually see 1 bad player out there today.

NDJ was awesome today and his workrate was second to none. He was still up for leading the attack when the whistle went, he has some engine and that was fantastic to see. Intelligent play all round.

We had 10 amazing players on the park today, however, I reckon we would have won comfortably if Bellers was fit and playing as Robbie was shite! He should have been replaced by petrov and he would have been if the team had not suffered the problems of the full backs being injured.

Tevez for scoring the winner, but Given and De Jong are close seconds. However everyone was awesome tonight, really.

This has to be one of the biggest walkaway polls I've ever seen on here.

For me there were several players who probably had their best game in a city shirt today, immense stuff all round.
