What an opportunity this game is, we have been in this possistion so many times, where a win could push us on,and belief surely must then come, but I've gone for a draw,0-0, but with our history, would not be suprised by a loss.

3-0 at least. First time (in the top flight) for 30 years I've felt we had a team where the class was so high it will pull through inevitably.

RSC, Tevez, Bellamy

We HAVE to win this.

As a bonus I would love to see another clean sheet.

Nice 'routine' victory, would love to see Robinho and RSC on the scoresheet. Won't be easy though with a makeshift defence again though.

I'll go 3 nil to city.

I can't see why we'd lose this but like mentioned its one of those times where the win will cement our intentions and put us in a position where our target is ours to lose... and EVERY other fucking time we've cocked up!!

Out of interest - what do you think the attitude towards the manager will be IF we lose this game and our long, unbeaten home record along with it??

Like I say, I can't see it happening but the reaction is unthinkable...

Would just be a loss for me. I mean, he did get three wins on the trot since he's come, and with three clean sheets, so it's not like he had a bad start. I'd be gutted of course, but we can't realistically think about winning all games till the end of the season, after all. The question is, what if we lose today, but then go on a winning spree, both in the league and the cups? Would criticism of the manager be justified?

So no, imho you can't judge from a single game lost, or won for that matter. We need to see how the team goes under him. Of course, if we started losing or drawing games in a row, then I'd be pretty upset, and if we miss fourth spot then I'd probably might consider the idea of getting a replacement in the summer, but to be honest I have absolute faith in Mancini at the moment so I don't think such a scenario will happen.

All i am hoping for is a win of any level (although the clean sheet would be good).

6 points off them this season would hopefully show a turn in the tide away from "typical City", them being one of our bogey teams n all that.

Added bonus of seeing Fat Sam's BP rise a notch or two :-)

Oh go on then 3-0, Tevez to get a brace so he can go on & get more than 20 in the season and it would be nice for Bellers to carry on scoring too

With all the top teams having their wobbles this season, it looks like 1968 all over again where the most consistant of an inconsistant bunch will take the prize. This is a great opprtunity to consolidate our position and put pressure on all those around us.
CITY 2-0 BLACKBURN....Tevez and Bellamy

The next round of games looks pretty easy for the top teams...I wouldn't expect many slip ups from our rivals.
