Boyata.

He's really thriving in the first team and long may it continue.

Tevez for me, the guy was tremendous again and scored a goal out of nothing.

1) Richards never put a foot wrong

2) Kompany held us together for long periods

3) Tevez for giving us hope

Much more accurate. Boyata defied his years but was anything but commanding.

Kompany, Richards and Tevez in that order!

Boyata was excellent too! Great to see Micah back on track now, lets hope his head is back on it now, POWER< PACE<AGGRESSION, fantasic! Well done Micah! Kompany has been fantastic since going back to his natural position!

Think we need to get a settle ack four and team and we will b a real force!

Very dissapointed tonight but i can take hope from it!

I gave it Richards. Could have been any one of five.

We played well. Not well enough. Am impressed with Boyata. My stream of consciousness now draws to a close. I am gutted. Big sleep needed.

I'd rather win the FA Cup than the League Cup anyway. Good night.

He did really well imo but cracked right at the death, as did Vinny unfortunately.

Tevez MOTM for me, closely followed by Bellamy. They had the bottle to take the game to the rags wheras the midfield including Ireland when he came on, were too hurried for most of the game. Micah was also very good.

I find it difficult to find a player in blue that turned up sorry..thats my opinion and I follow home & away. I know I`m smarting but this was a below par rag side so how below par has bobby manc got us playing cos I saw no attacking tonight from block 332 row 38 seat 147 how about you

I went for micah randomly and that seems to be the second favourite choice. He was a monster second half.

I think kompany was miles better than boyota and had to do alot of his work, didnt want boyota playing and he shit me up a few times with some crazy play. Did weel on occasions though but shouldnt have been playing in such a big game when we had Ned.

? we had six chances on target! Attacking we were not as great as ususal, but Christ how many players were we missing!

Kompany was immense, thought he covered a bit for Boyata, but the young lad did well also. Bellamy went off the boil after the coin incident, thought Barry was a bit quiet and slow, SWP was deffo off the pace. Richards & Tevez also were standout and the others played well.

As for below par United, they only had Vidic missing, we had a whole fucking back line missing just for starters!

Tevez, Bellamy, Richards and Boyata all deserve a mention. But I picked Tevez who showed proper never say die attitude.

On a sidenote, I can't believe the amount of stick Boyata has got from certain sections. Probably to slag off Mancini in process. None of the goals were down to him. Yes he had few shaky moments but generally stood up to challenge fantastically well imo and that was ultimate challenge. What I saw was future Manchester City centerback no matter how good we end up. Some people are going to end up with eggs in their faces for this one. It's also weak to be critical of young boy who has done well to get to manager who is only weakness seems to be that he hasn't got rag background. No, in fact I'm going to think best of these people, super duper professional Mancs would NEVER do that.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Gone for Richards as he's not normally that good. Tevez has had enough lately! Agree with Svensational on Boyata. Great for an 19-yr-old newboy, yes, but for a top class centre-back in a highly charged match?

Richards was far and away our best player.
Boyata did well, but Mancini shouldn't have played him. what must be going through Nedum's head if he can't get in the team ahead of a 19 year old?
