MANCINI V BELLERS...SHOCKING.

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Fact remains, he has been one (if not THE) of our best players this season. Being on the piss? Is that a fact or just what you want to believe? He could've been sober and have been twatted by a rag fan for all you know. But fuck it, let's play Patrick Vieira on the left-wing, I'm sure he'll be brilliant there and we will beat Liverpool no problem

You don't need to compare Mancini with anyone else to see how he is doing.
Just take a look at what he is doing and analyse that.

Fucking hell john, i am doing, can't you see that?

Why do you think we are playing the type of football at the minute? Do you think it's because this is all Mancini has to offer? For a man of your intelligence and experience i find it baffling you cannot see the clear analysis of my views on Mancini and his situation at the minute.

I wonder which side Cook and Marwood will fall on?

Well they have to back the manager - unfortunately

"Bellamy refused a request to train on Thursday with one of the manager's Italian staff."

Sounds to me more like a one-on-one stuff here.

What a fucking miserable news/thread to read as a first thing in the morning. fuck.

I'd hold fire on this one until it's proven to be true, otherwise we could be playing into their hands.

They're scared of bellamy & will do anything to undermine him & us.

WELL IF IT,S NOT TRUE THEN THE COURT CASE AGAINST THE PAPER WILL BE FUCKING HUGE.

IT,S AS DAMNING AS YOU CAN GET MATE.

Does Mancini seem to you like the kind of bloke who would start shouting & screaming at a player simply because he doesn't fancy a bit of extra training & then ban him for 3 months, a few days before he's due to play against one of his former clubs, after our club has made a big publicity video campaign about him which it's running all over the shop & with Tevez unsure to make it back, when he's on a 6 month probationary contract & needs all the good will he can get?

Would it not be easier just to smooth it over, get him on his side then dump him at the end of the season? I think the Sun lies as a matter of course so I'll wait & see if the Evg News runs the same story tomorrow.

Manicini of 2 games in no - a guy who is now beginning to really worry about his future ? - well you never know

If I had read this before voting yes on the top 4 poll I would have reversed it

You seem to define the type of football we are currently playing as grinding out results. You also seem satisfied that we are being successful at grinding our results.

I would settle for that til the end of the season if I thought we were actually doing that. But I don't see that getting mullered by Everton, being battered by Hull, luckily scraping a draw against a ten man Stoke and allowing Stoke top gain an equaliser at CoMS is actually grinding out results.
I also would be happy if we were gringing out results by doing so efficiently but I don't think we are. I think we are playing badly and I worry that when the big boys come to play we wil be punished.

The reality is that whatever style of football we are playing...we are not playing it well.

I think the georgian genius has called it right here.

If it's true and it is the Sun as Ted Hughes points out, then I go with supporting the Manager and not the player. Bellamy has reverted to his norm. Getting beaten up in a disco was good enough to be fined and suspended. Bellamy also needs to up his game.

bellers should'nt be so childish!! no one is bigger then the club and should always do what the manager says!

it is just human-nature when you see someone everday that some stuff could be said that you dont mean when under stress etc. probly happens 1-2 a week that a player or coach tells some to fuck off!

i've been a coach for 7 years..sent a few home or for an early shower! few days later have small talk with that person and apologise.
and anyways, if bellers only wants the best for our club..then he should just apologise and get on with it!!! we have some massiv games ahead of us

Fair point that about sending players home. I have experienced that too, having to send players home or discipline them to 'tag along' with the team spirit so to speak.

Until we know for sure that it is true, I'd hold judgement on both Mancini and Bellers. But if it is true, both have their responsibilities, Mancini for his over-the-top reaction, and Bellers for not doing as he was told, after all Mancini is the manager, not Bellamy. If the Welsh thought the extra training could be dangerous for his knee, then he might have found a way to explain his reasons without plainly refusing the extra training.

It's in The Sun...and how the fuck would they have transcripts of exactly what had been said? Do they have bugs in Bobbys office?

Biggest pile of shite ever

Funny how these type of stories always surface just before a big game

Unsettling tactics

Hmm, if it is printed in The Sun then the report loses virtually all credibility. City need to issue a denial asap this morning to quell this though.

That said, whatever or however this argument started - if it did at all - then you have to back the manager. Any player cannot just run by his own rules or argue with the manager so City have to back Mancini on how he wants to deal with this, assuming of course that there is an incident that needs dealing with.

We will know if it is true by Citys actions today. Last year watches story in paper, denial issued that day. No denial and this story is true.

Bellers.........controversial training methods.......what's the score here, why are all these stories breaking just before a crunch match with the Dippers?
