I think 'The Limp for Fourth' would be more accurate. None of us can get a run going, so I expect there will be more twists before the season ends.

Quite happy in my dark place thinking that we won't make it, though. I was never happy in the optimistic world - doesn't sit naturally with being a City fan.

Stoke 2-0 on Wednesday, whilst we're at it.

The general consensus amongst the Pundits on Football Focus was that Arsenal's looked the easiest. I looked at it and was in agreement.

Very optimistic.

2 away wins? Fucking doubtit 2 away draws and 1 away loss and a draw at home to brum and a win against wigan. My blur tinted glasses are well and truly gone. Time for the rest of you to get rid and pop down to specsavers.

Burnley are very likely to be fighting relegation in May and Sunderland are doing very badly at the moment. Two fairly straightforward games on paper, my man. Although the game is played on grass!

I admire all the positivity still around when assessing the remaining results. I worked on a slight increase in form but could still only find 17 points ! If we play great then it's 25 :)

I just did my own foreacst and it totted up to 17 points as well - and that included draws in the next 2 games - whatever though - we need to approach every game with 11 players showing the effort quite a few of them did on Sunday - or it is all irrelevant

I'm with Goater legend myself, except that I think we'll win at Burnley.

I firmly believe - and only the next few weeks will tell - that the matches at Everton, Stoke, Hull, Chelsea and home to Scouse1 comprise a very tough sequence which would've had similar results whenever they were played. From hereon in I dont think we'll have such a tough home match as the Dippers, and include Scum, Villa and Everton in that, so I expect us to win them all, boring or not.

Furthermore I can only see (boring) wins at Sunderland and Burnley, with possible draws at Fulham and W Ham. If Hammers are safe and we have all to play for, it's a 'last day game' and we will win.

So I'm going for around 24 (boring) points, go for it lads!

Can't see us getting more than this. 17 points.
Would be chuffed if we do of course and break the 70 point threshold but I can't see it anymore, not the way we are playing.
