I hope whatever it is brings loads of investment and jobs to the area, so I can sit back and watch the press desparately try and find something bad to say - foreigners, coming over here, creating our jobs

From what I know, it'll be a theme park orientated thingy. Totally geared to families with a big emphasis on children. We're also getting our new training ground there, supposedly based on Real Madrid's new facilities, but with added bells, whistles and arabs.

Have it good authority that the sheikh is a big fan of mancityfans.net and has decided to whip out his wallet and build a giant high horse for NQDP to sit on and shout 'I told you so....!' ;-)

Does anyone think that the Abu Dhabi/Emirates type structures would look a little out of place?

yeah coz Blackpool tower is so fucking mint ;0)

You joke about "disneyworld" etc but I've heard, via a bloke in the pub (my uncle) - That its gonna be the casino, hotels + shopping centre area + a theme park of some sort, whether or not this is football related (the theme park) I don't know
Also they want our stadium to match the sort of stadiums they have in spain for Barca and Real - as their is shiteloads of available grounds around eastlands its quite a viable project

Hope it is something similar to the Tevez billboard that the club put up
last summer.... maybe something a little more surreal (like the Magic Christian):

A giant cock with Alex Ferguson's visage at the base. Now THAT would be a blast.

Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

Yep, it's called the M60!

However, with the plight of Silverstone and Donnington, you never know ;-)
