Looking at the bench, I don't really think we had options (only SWP and RSC as attackers on bench). The only attacker I can see that is available and not on the team is Ibriham. Johnson is tied, Tevez is in South America and Marty is still hurt.

To be honest I would have done the same. De Jong won't be useful tonight because Stoke just surpass the midfield with their long ball shit and he is too small. Smart move moving Kompany there imho. He can pass the ball better than De Jong too.
