I dunno mate, I'd be very suprised. I know a lot of us play the victim when it comes to bad press and punishments, but if Ade gets banned for seven games over the course of the season and Gerrard and Mascherano get nothing for both last night and the game against us then it is clear bias that they want the Big Four to be preserved for as long as possible.

I realise he's an England interational, but him missing the next three games and playing the last seven won't turn him to shite for the world cup.

Cheers DD! Hadn't seen the incident until now. What an ugly cunt! Surely someone should report him for violent conduct, just like what happened to Ade twice.

Fuck me, that's probably one of the worse attacks I've seen and if he'd have caught him proper then would be looking at hospital treatment.

He can't get away with that surely, even if it was on Brown!

Is anyone watching SSN? Just wondering if they're showing it like it is in that video - over and over again?

Because lets face it, the more media coverage an incident gets, the more likely the player gets retrospective punishment...

Anyone?

Errrrrrr.....................NO. Have been watching early doors and have just switched back on (whilsthaving nothing better to do on my week's leave) and have not seen anything.

Wait-One.

On the Prem League Tab: Benitez not worried that Gerrard's clash with Brown could be punished.

Next: 'Pool skipper appeared to stike Brown's head with his forearm as they ran side-by-side.

Next: Benitez; 'I don't think so, I haven't seen it but I was asking and think it was nothing'.

Even the way they report it is biased!

It's pretty obvious that they will ban him, and they'll fasttrack him aswell seeing as though they have the rags at the weekend, the FA wouldnt want Gerard upsetting the applecart by helping the scouse to 3 points now.......

Anything other than a ban is an absolute fucking disgrace IMO, I bet they'll come back with some shit like, "the referee saw the incident and chose to take no further action, therfore no further action can be taken.....". Corrupt bunch of wanking tossbags!!!!

No chance of a ban, top four team, albeit clinging on by the skin of their teeth. With
a bit of luck it will be our players given Carte Blanche next season for the same reason.

Doesn't Gerrard have a suspended sentence from his last assault? Surely this is a re-offence, and should get him some time inside.

Well if it was a real person anyway.

Why isn't the video footage splashed all over SSN every 5 minutes like Ade's was? Is it something to do with it being broadcast on ESPN, Sky not wanting to advertise their rivals or they don't have the rights?

And Steve, he would have to go back to court for that one, and as we all know Little Stu Atwell has already sat as Judge and Juror. The reasons nothing will happen are:

1. Atwell cannot be seen as getting things wrong as he is future of refereeing.

2. Sky will not want to lose Gerrard from the weekends 'Northwest Derby', it doesn't suit their agenda.

3. They're all shitbags at the FA with piss-flaps for balls. Let's hope they all get cunted - cunts!!!

He's an English international.

You're right and spot on. That's why, if I wear off the City shirt (or the spuds/villans one) I reckon and forgive the "V sign".

But, when I sum the Mascherano on Barry with the Gerrard on Brown, and I compare them with the Ade/Vieira bans, I gonna get the Toni Pulis mood of "we deserve to play on a same level ground".... :-)

And when I saw the very poor effort taken to put FA under any lighter kind of pressure, I am puzzled about what directors of football are on about?

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

Fucking ludicrous joke. This time it was a massive violent conduct!

I've requested a FA login so that I can send a complaint/query regarding this and other incidents. Once completed, the page stated that I'd have an E-Mail sent immediately but strangely it hasn't come yet (20 mins now). Wonder if they are getting bombarded?

The biggest thing here is that a lot of Grass Root footballers will feel that they can do exactly the same, and wothout any official sanctions from the FA, things will only get worse. It won't be long before players will be walking out with knuckle dusters and baseball bats, 'cos as we all know, without sanctions there is no discipline.
