Justin Fashanu - 2 appearances

Bobby Mimms - 3 appearances

Also no-ones mentioned the living legend.... Barry Conlon 7 appearances!

Also how about:
Matt Busby
Joe Fagan
Don Revie (admittedly a well known City great to the older supporters)

Duncan Davidson - scored a pearler of a last minute winner against Swansea in 1983, shot hit post, hit keeper and dribbled in.

Rae Kelly

About 15 players under Frank Clark including Barry Conlon who looked like a fat Angus Deayton

Mickey Horsewill

Ged Keegan

Ken McNaught

Ged Brannan

Two mysterious Georgian Centre Halfs who both looked suspiciously like Jimmy Nail

Egil Ostenstadt spearheading our bid to avoid relegation

The algerian feller who came on as sub against Rochdale in a preseason friendly about 5 yrs ago. Still dont know his name to this day, but I think he played one or two games for the first team that season.

Stop it, i've still got his shirt and it's never been worn.

In the 5 seconds he played for us, he showed some nice touches. Never got the chance to settle in, injuries and all.

Got a start against Doncaster in the Carling Cup - Mulder and Scully continue to investigate how or why.

It was part of a complex plot to get a sudden flood of Middle-Eastern members for Mancityfans.net, also encompassing Iraqi and Saudi Arabian players of little or no use.

Strange as this was before Abu Dhabi took over but probably part of Frank's masterplan to get someone from the Middle East to buy the club from him. He finally got Sheikh Mansour interested.
BTW, the Iraqi you refer to was Nashat Akram who now plays for Steve McLaren at FC Twente. Could've been in this list if he had got his work permit !

Egil Ostenstad is a great shout - a "name" player whose time at the club seems like a hazy dream.

Although it was a great season and he was captain, I still find it weird when I recall Stuart Pearce playing for us.

Anyone remember us giving a trial to Pep Guardiola towards the back end of Pearce's manegerial reign? We should have persuaded the cunt to spearhead a managerial coup!

Neil Lennon
Martin O'Neill
Justin Fashanu
Ivan Golac
Mark Robins
Carl Shutt
Dragoslav Stepanović

Edit: Mention of South Africa on another post reminded me of Colin Viljoen who I will always associate with Ipswich, not us.
