Our goal for next season is still the same, challenge for the Premier League Title. 5th or 6th next season would be failure but this season it is progress in anyone's book. A team thrown together at the start of the season by the previous manager (including a few that quite frankly aren't good enough) has managed despite many untimely injuries, countless bad mouthing in the press and one of strikers suffering a near death encounter to finish at least 6th in the PL.

Once I've gotten over tonight's disappointment I'll be over the moon, come on Sheikh, break out the cheque book!

The way I see it, is that we are one of 2 top teams on the 'UP' for certain.
Chelsea are on a plateau, rags are hanging on to the past, Arsenal are going through a lean time, and if there were 4 ore games left, I think both ourselves and Spurs would have made the top 4. Liverpool are going downhill faster than an alpine skier, so although today's dissapointment is obvious, the emphisis is tht we are vastly improved.

I think one of the major factors in how we feel, or at least I feel, is that if the old 4 had held on to the top 4 places and we had reached 5th, we would be feeling a lot better of ourselves. The fact that Spurs have stolen our thunder, has tarnished our feelings more, when everyone thought it would be us and not them
