dont know how anyone can rate zab,he cant pass, gives away stupid frees, mistimes his tackles, makes pointless runs where the ball cant be played and cant cross when he finally gets into that position.
Think fulop played very well but de jong was a v close 2nd

MOTM is a fucking 3rd rate goalkeeper that cant get a game for love or money.

That really says it all doesnt it......a billion quid on the field and the motm is valued at a little over 2 pound fifty.

you couldnt make it up.

Our goalkeeper was by far the best player on the pitch for us which sadly says everything you need to know about the game. We huffed and puffed but had no real cutting edge. Spurs could have scored 4 or 5 if it wasn't for Fulop.

All 4 of our attackers bottled it tonight. Tevez dropped way to too deep, Adebayor ran the wings as he's scared of staying in the box and our wingers need to take seriously lessons on how to cross a football. They can learn from Bentley and Bale if they like.

Are wingers can cross its just there is no one good enough in the box to hit.

Edit * sorry bellamy cant cross but then again he aint a winger.

After a defeat i never feel like giving a motm accolade to any City player as i am of the belief that no-one has deserved it enough.

Fulop. At first blush I was wondering about the deflection to Crouch on the goal, but then again that was only AFTER Bellamy let them walk right thur him, Bridge who was screening Fulop decided not to sacrifice the body (like Ledley King did twice with his head) and the cross/shot was a fuckling missle, not much the lad could have done. Thank you Marton Fulop for giving it your all for the team, you could have been a legend if our big money players could score. Every save he made gave Niall Quinn a bigger transfer kitty. Well done.

And yes, I agree it is a bittersweet comment to name a MOTM, but he clearly was it for me.

Nice to see the manic depressives are out in full force tonight.

Barry and De Jong were both exceptional tonight, as were Kompany, Toure and Fulop. Tevez and Johnson started on fire then faded.

I think i'd go with De Jong as MOM.

Crouch. Compare his performance and effort level to Adebayor tonight - poles apart.

Barry was good til he went. Toure was good all night. NDJ was pretty damn good all night. Has to be Fulop though; there were too many times where I could have sworn they'd scored and he sorted us out.

I've had two Mackem mates point this out to me too, and if I could have argued with them, I would. They didn't take the piss to be fair to them. Made me feel a little better all things considered.

Fulop.

Can't believe people are saying toure. He must have looked good 2nd half, as in the first when he was in front of me, he got taken apart by crouch. He's a centre half who doesn't go up for corners - says it all really.

Barry. His leaving the pitch changed the match for them. We looked like we were going to score whilst GB was on the pitch.

No-one has mentioned Johnson, who I thought had a good game again.

Forward line - shocking. Tevez worked his arse off, but was greedy in positions where he could've played in another.
Adebayor didn't win a header all night.
Others - average, with the exception of Fulop.
So, a toss-up between GB and Fulop, for me.

Overall MOTM - has to be Crouch. ran the show imo.
