Zabs "crossing" leaves alot to be desired?is that it?he mistimes his tackles, lacks speed, makes pointless runs that no one can thread a pass to,gives away silly frees and cant make a 10 yard pass.
Cannot understand what mancini sees in him

you said this last night too dazby,he missed two free headers from 6-8 yards out to give us a lead/win.
made a few tackles after but that certainly does not make him our best player last nite or any where close.

Heard he had to be literally dragged back on the pitch by Sly to clap the fans after the match. Disgraceful way for the club captain to act and he can piss right off!

Anyone actually see it at the ground cause I heard the main guy on GMR say it on the way home.

Fair play to Sly, he doesn't owe us anything and has hardly played this season. True professional!

and hes absolutely shite and no balls. I didnt want him from the start. Il admit that was a big bollock hughes dropped (although he did well with aston villas new player of the season)

Yeah I saw silvy come out and bring everyone back on, i love that guy! We need more like him.

I barely clapped at the end, I wanted to ring adebayors neck. Some fans clapped more at the end than throughout the 90 mins/ season at coms!

I thought toure was our best defender against Tottenham.
Uncalled for this i think.
Since he has been back in the team, he's played miles better then what he was at the start.
Kompany and Lesscott should be the pairing though.

Are you kidding me? The striker gets in front of him 9 times out of 10. The guy is shite and taking our club for a ride!

Do you REALLY think that??? Or are you just joking?
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Do you really honestly think Toure didn't come back on straight away because couldn't be arsed or because he doesn't think City fans are worth it?

That's my thinking I think people are looking for a boo boy here as usual..

Like you moaning about Ireland all of last season?? Stones, glasshouses and all that.

Touche.. But I have matured I hope as a fan and a poster on this board mate something most people on here won't ever do.. (not mentioning any names)

Good post Vhero.. but i have to say that if you admit you have matured as you put it, then surely you have to admit that others can do the same... given time and a little bit of help ;)

These are defining times for City fans.. someone recently mentioned not sulking..

Dear Kolo,
thanks for all you can do in your 1st and I hope last season at Eastlands but you really show how wrong is your ability to make the captain of Manchester City! Maybe Leslie needed a spy much more than a guide in our dressing room but now our beloved club needs a strong man with strong attributes! A man like Vinnie or Nigel or, why not, Carlitos, not you at all! Bye bye and good luck wherever Mancio would find a place for you (Italy? France? Spain?)
From Torino, Italia to Manchester, Lancashire this City is always our City!

Jesus this thread is embarrassing, some of the coments are way over the top.
I felt he played very well last night and has been in much better form in the second half of the season.

But he doesn't deserve to stay as a captain at our club!

One of the key qualities of a central defender is the ability to sniff out danger and deal with it.... the problem with Toure is he actually causes danger and confusion rather than dealing with it. Needs to go. And it's not a case of scapegoating someone.
I must remember to get a new signature.....

What in the hell?

I am not sure what everyone saw last night, but in my opinion, Toure was fairly good. He defender Crouch well, brought the ball forward on several good runs, and was generally "aware" enough to hold the back.

I've seen a lot of "slagging" going on here, but no specifics; it's all just the general "he's shite" commentary with no substance. Exactly what did he do wrong, and at what time point, versus Spurs last night?

I'm afraid Kolo Toure ain't up to top 4. He's put in some decent performances at times this year but to get to the top you have to be brutal so ship the cunt out along with Bridge, SWP, Richards, RSC and a few others I'll have to think about.
