maybe gary neville as well...... oh hang on, no he's an absolute cunt.

Even if he is fit to play will he really be the same?? The only keeper on there I would want as depth would be Miak Taylor, a lot better than any Taylor we had.

I agree. Cudicini seems to have a long way to go to reach match fitness, and he may just opt to retire. Almunia or Taylor as backup for me. Ballack & Cole worth a shot too, but Ballack on a one-year contract, which I doubt he'd accept.

Always liked Morten Gamst Pedersen. He would be a good utility player for us. He would probably be here already if Hughes were still here.

I always think he looks like a jester or a clown. Good skill for sure, and has incredible heart and drive. I just don't think he is the calibre player we want though.

Petrov?

Looks like arsenal are in the market for a shit load of defenders, as well as needing firepower and a good keeper. Looks like mr miser wenger will have to splash the cash this year.

Good but not good enough.

Also a subscribing member of Rags supporters club. So a proper rag bastard.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Joe Cole sticks out like a sore thumb but I can think of once rich, now skint, Chump's lg team who will surely be in for him.

Never quite figured out what Ballack does but people seem to keep playing him in big games so he must do it right, whatever it is. Would certainly give us more physical presence in the box when we needed it ( which was frighteningly lacking v Spurs).

Incredible to see how Pedersen & Bentley have slipped down into obscurity. Just few years ago they were two of the best wide players in the PL, now you could get both for next to nowt.
