according to some sources the club have "confirmed" he is for sale, along with Onuah and a few others
Micah is "not for sale" though

He's going nowhere - he would be worth his wages if he never kicked a ball in anger for us again purely for his contribution during training. You can't buy that sort of affect on team mates.

2 absolute class goals against the scum plus a smack in the mouth of a fan...despite the fact we lost he ran them ragged only last season...yet some would be happy to see him go...beggars belief

However the decision does seem to rest with Bellamy and contrary to the thread title City have not put Bellamy up for sale. Personally I think he will stay and as it will be his decision he can't moan about it later on which I suspect may be the best way to ensure that Bellamy is firmly 'on-side' this season.

They should just tell him he's staying & that's that. If he doesn't like it he can play in the reserves, we don't owe him any favours.

I recon he'll bust his balls trying to win us trophies & if his knees hold out, he'll be good for next season too. If not then apparently we won't miss him anyway. What the fuck could we possibly gain by selling him? All we can do is lose. Sign Vieira & sell Bellamy? Do me a fucking favour.

Don't see the point on insisting he stays if he wanted to try his luck elsewhere. I never see the point in clinging on to disgruntled employees. I think he will stay anyway as he will see us as his best shot at actually winning something. Vieira has fuck all to do with it. More relevant would be sign Silva and sell Bellamy. Or do we automatically blame Vieira every time the club or Mancini does something we disagree with?

I don't believe he's disgruntled Bob. Never had it so good. Always moaning, yet a true professional.

If he's disgruntled, fuck him. we do what's best for the club, which is to stick him in the stiffs not to have him helping someone else to beat us, finish above us, or knocking us out of the FA cup.

The point I'm making about Vieira is that all the reasons most people give for getting rid of Bellamy, age, injuries etc apply much more to Vieira. We've just signed Vieira so logically, those criteria can not be used against Bellamy, it wouldn't make any sense whatsoever. I agree that Bellamy will want to stay but if we force him out we are making a ridiculous & dangerous decision which could cost us dearly. We gain nothing from it, & as a fan, I personally don't want it shoving down my fucking throat every week as he turns in MOTM performances for someone else. It's shit on so many levels it's not even an option.

It makes no sense to sell Bellamy.

Dunne's got a lot longer left in his career. You can't keep him in on the bench for 5 years if you're not going to play him. Bellamy admits himself he's only got a short time left in the game & has said that he's happy to be part of the squad .

Lifted this off a Spurs forum...

Spursfan wrote:Im sure, if we were to sign Bellamy & he showed the sorta performances hes had with City & previously with Blackburn he'd become a fans favourite. On his day he's got everything, pace, he can finish, hard worker, & gets the team going. The only fans who really dont like the guy are the ones who havnt had him in there team. You ask fans from City,L'pool,B'burn etc & most say they loved him in there team for reasons above. OK he can be a handfull from time to time but along with Mark Hughes I think Harry could control & get the best out of him for his last few seasons. Also he's a player that can play in several postions, all accross the midfield, just behind the striker & lets not forget how many goals & how well he played for B'burn when played as an out & out striker. I personally think he'd b a superb SQUAD player if he'd accept that.

would be sad to see him go but IF he is causing problems with the management then he has to go. no player is bigger than the club.

Awesome player on his day but he's 31 now and his knees are playing up more and more, by his own admission he's only got 2 more years left possibly. Personally want him to stay but if there has been a fall-out with Bobby Manc then he'll have to go. We all know Bellers can be a trouble causing fucker at times but i think we'll need him in the squad this coming season. If we sell him sods law says Silva will get a long term injury. Typical City ;-)

As with most of these 'rumours' you really don't know the truth from the fiction. On his day Bellamy can seem unplayable, he has the one thing that you can't mark and that is out & out pace. He should benefit more than most from a rotational squad next season but one thing is for sure and that is that if he's made an enemy of Mancini then he's out the door

The Guardian is one of the better football papers, I doubt this is based purely on speculation.

But then Bellamy leaving seems probable. Maybe he is or isn't upset, maybe he rightly or wrongly shook hands with Harry Redknapp after we lost the Champions Leauge to Spurs, perhaps he'll be content with being a squad player but one thing's for certain - he doesn't stay around for long.

Thoughout his carrer he's been a roamer. He's like a loveable dog whose lifespan is just too short.

I, like most of you, don't want one of our best players of the last season to leave, but I've a feeling this is inevitable.

Rabidly anti-City mate. And I have no doubt this is either their own pure speculation, or from reading another rag's made-up speculation.
