They should just tell him he's staying & that's that. If he doesn't like it he can play in the reserves, we don't owe him any favours.

Dunne's got a lot longer left in his career. You can't keep him in on the bench for 5 years if you're not going to play him. Bellamy admits himself he's only got a short time left in the game & has said that he's happy to be part of the squad .

Im sure, if we were to sign Bellamy & he showed the sorta performances hes had with City & previously with Blackburn he'd become a fans favourite. On his day he's got everything, pace, he can finish, hard worker, & gets the team going. The only fans who really dont like the guy are the ones who havnt had him in there team. You ask fans from City,L'pool,B'burn etc & most say they loved him in there team for reasons above. OK he can be a handfull from time to time but along with Mark Hughes I think Harry could control & get the best out of him for his last few seasons. Also he's a player that can play in several postions, all accross the midfield, just behind the striker & lets not forget how many goals & how well he played for B'burn when played as an out & out striker. I personally think he'd b a superb SQUAD player if he'd accept that.

Awesome player on his day but he's 31 now and his knees are playing up more and more, by his own admission he's only got 2 more years left possibly. Personally want him to stay but if there has been a fall-out with Bobby Manc then he'll have to go. We all know Bellers can be a trouble causing fucker at times but i think we'll need him in the squad this coming season. If we sell him sods law says Silva will get a long term injury. Typical City ;-)

As with most of these 'rumours' you really don't know the truth from the fiction. On his day Bellamy can seem unplayable, he has the one thing that you can't mark and that is out & out pace. He should benefit more than most from a rotational squad next season but one thing is for sure and that is that if he's made an enemy of Mancini then he's out the door

The Guardian is one of the better football papers, I doubt this is based purely on speculation.

But then Bellamy leaving seems probable. Maybe he is or isn't upset, maybe he rightly or wrongly shook hands with Harry Redknapp after we lost the Champions Leauge to Spurs, perhaps he'll be content with being a squad player but one thing's for certain - he doesn't stay around for long.

Thoughout his carrer he's been a roamer. He's like a loveable dog whose lifespan is just too short.

I, like most of you, don't want one of our best players of the last season to leave, but I've a feeling this is inevitable.
