I think he would be a weak link to be honest, you cant play him on the left because kolarov would look as bad as bridge. he would have to take tevez's place and i couldnt see that happening in a million years. If you hit him hard early on he will shy away from the game.

Some of the systems Mancini uses will try to allow for less workrate from the forwards by having a more solid midfield covering, like Dunga's system for Brazil. Balotelli, when used in that left side position isn't famed for his tracking back (although he may hopefully be talked into it & surprise us) & Silva isn't exactly Roy Keane either..

I think milner will play that left hand hand side from now on, if ballotelli plays it will be up top with tevez, silva through the middle or in place of tevez. thats just what i think but im probably wrong.

Were missing a trick here if we dont take Ronaldinho as part of the deal.. basically even if its just for exposure, shirt sales and to ruin football.

You could be right in some games but he'll be rotating the side. He said he'd bought Milner mainly to play in the middle & he played Balotelli on the left v Timmydoodah so all kinds of swapping around could happen. Silva moved to the right for a short spell that night & looked great there for instance. You could play Milner, DeJong & Yaya behind Robbinho Balotelli & Silva. It's endless.

Galliani said: 'Robinho is the alternative to Ibrahimovic, but we want the Swedish striker.'

Reports in Italy have say that Milan director Ariedo Braida has flown in to England as they look to reach an agreement with City for a player who has fallen from grace since a British record £32.5m move from Real Madrid in September 2008.
Robinho may need to take a pay cut on his £160,000 a week deal to secure a move away from Eastlands.
No deal: Galliani leaves talks at Barca
On Ibrahimovic, Galliani admitted: 'The negotiations are very complex, very difficult, very expensive, but the relationship with Sandro Rosell is really good and he is very nice.
'The will of Barcelona is to sell the player to Milan. There is a lot of money to overcome and this is the difficulty.'

These fucks are at it again; try to get an agreement with the player & force the club to sell him for less money whilst fucking us about at the same time. Just a thought but it's not impossible we could take Huntellaar for Robinho. I'm not a fan but having a spare goalscorer is better than having someone who doesn't like us.

Huntelaar's stats both in Spain and Italy show he's not that good of a goalscorer when put in a serious league though. I'd prefer selling Robinho for all cash and then flying to Germany to get Dzeko.

Oh of course getting a striker in that Mancini really wants would be preferable but I doubt Milan will give us much money & I doubt we need it anyway! I think Wolfsburg wanted Bellamy & won't let Dzeko go unless we give them more than he's worth.

I just mean if the choice is between Robinho staying but not wanting to play for us or swapping him for a player who may be keen to try & make a name for himself, it may be better to do the deal. If we wait for Milan to part with money, they'll probably delay it 'til 5 mins before the window shuts & offer us £5 mil. We already know they're a bunch of snakes.

Huntelaar is rumoured to be going to Shalke 04 though, if that's true maybe Milan won't be so penny-pinching and give us some money. That is, if the Ibra deal doesn't happen for them (they want him on loan for two years...)
