Prem Games This Weekend

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Just about the only real passing move of the 1st half, good goal. Wolves are doing well to stand up against Spurs' long ball aerial bombardment.

Don't understand though, why every team that plays Spurs, including us, always leaves a 30 yard gap behind the defence for Bale to run into unchallenged. Nobody lets SWP or Johnson have that much space.

Been watching the Spuds game on a stream and even though Spurs have made a few chances through Bale, Wolves have had the better opportunities and should definately have had a penalty, if not 2.

1544: Tim Howard mis-kicks his clearance at Everton and from 40 yards, diehard Evertonian Joey Barton lashes a right-foot shot miles wide for Newcastle.

Some things never change! "D-i-e-h-a-r-d" that is a funny way of spelling CUNT!

My stream's really weird. It makes it look like thre are empty seats all over the place but I know that's impossible as Spurs have over 60,000 fans who can't get in & the Lane only holds 36,000. The idea that they can't sell 36,000 tickets on a Saturday with a 3 O'Clock kick off is ridiculous of course.

Had a look at the match thread on Villa Talk as I was curious about how Dunney and Ireland were doing. By the looks of it, Dunne is having a shit game (subbed at h/t) and season as a whole. As for Ireland, their fans think he's either constantly played out of position or he is not as good as first expected. Milner is also being missed.

Commentator is so far up Spurs' arse it's not true. Just complimenting the atmosphere when the Spurs fans sang for the 1st time in about 40 fucking mins.

West Brom scoring 2 v Birmingham means they can score v us. Mancini needs to treat that game with plenty of respect.

They impressed me the first 45 minutes of the season. But in hindsight I think that was more down to us being crap.

Possibly. They've got effective teams when everyone's fit but they both get bullshitted to death. They both have an ability we don't though, which is crosses etc fom Bale & Gerrard & someone to get on the end of them. They can create chances out of nothing wheras at the moment we need 70% possession to create as much.
