I'm convinced he gets info from people inside the club & may work there but that info isn't always correct, he just tells people what he's been told. I can think of many reasons why every story you get told by someone inside a football club isn't true but half the fucking morons on Bluemoon can't get their heads round it & start arguing. If they think everything the club tells the staff is true, they should ask Hughes.

I think he's good fun & along with the bloke in Abu Dhabi & one or two builder type anoraks on the stadium thread, one of the only things on that brainless knobhead infested fucking forum worth reading.

Just had a look at that thread. Deffo ITK as it's posted early in the morning on the day he was sacked. Most news stations only got hold of the story just before kick-off. In fact, if my memory serves me right, Hughes wasn't even supposed to be aware of his sacking at that time. That said, it appears that this fella gets as much wrong as he does right so a large pinch of salt required.

On a side note, I only ever read Bluemoon when someone posts a link on this site. I never visit it anymore because most of the site seems to be total bollocks.

He gets plenty of stuff wrong but imo that's because he's been told stuff that's wrong. He gets some big ones right when they tell him stuff that's right!

You read what he says then stick it away as a possibility in the back of your mind rather than rushing to the bookies!

Not really mate, and I'm not saying he isn't one of the knowing, but it had been muted by various mean's, and if I remember rightly, even we were talking about it on here well prior to the date that he posted it (day of the game at about 0915 hrs). I still remember talking to my mate a few days before wondering whether the Sunderland game was Hughes' last and hearing the day before that something was in the pipeline.

If I'm not wrong, someone posted an article on here early in the morning (prior to the time of that post, I think) stating that Hughes was getting sacked regardless of the outcome of the game. The reason I remember this so well is that my mate sent me a text saying 'Check your E-Mail' and it was a similar or same message as that post, that he'd got from another mate. The message time was well after the article about his sacking had been published which suggests to me that he is just an early bird who caught the worm. I'm pretty sure I read the original article early on as well.

One to note on that post is that he doesn't say who was taking over, which was as much as we all knew anyway.

Edit: Here's our original thread: [urlnp=http://www.mancityfans.net/mcfnet/viewtopic.php?f=119&t=28766&p=60051&hilit=+hughes+sacked#p60051]Click Me Here[/urlnp]. Check out the time and date, and that's not even for the article.

Edit 2: It hasn't actually got the time on that article but if you read the comments, the 1st one was posted at 0015 hrs on the 19th, a full 9 hours before that thread started.

Sherlock Holmes has got nowt on me and I deduce that he actually got his info from this site! Cheeky bastard ;-)

Point taken. I obviously didn't visit the site that day, must have been Christmas shopping. First I heard for definate was when I got to the game.

That's a very funny read in hindsight. The debate immediately starts about whether it deserves its own thread which is piss funny in itself, in light of recent discussions on here. Can I suggest a 'This Time Last Year' thread that picks up a thread one year on. They make great reading.

Exactly.

If you want to talk about some other poster on another forum, I'd suggest you go there to discuss it. That way he can see it himself as well.

Topic locked.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?
