Really pleased for him, he was excellent at City and just what we needed at that time. Hope he's a success in the job

I suspect if he had have been, we would never have been in the mess we were in before the takeover.

Good appointment for the us and the FA.

This.

Although he's a Spurs season ticket holder, so I doubt his loyalties lie fully with us.

No not exactly true, the London based company he ran had a box at WHL and naturally he attended many games. He was recruited to City because Wardle knew he was a lifelong City fan as well as an astute company executive. His loyalties have always been with us and always will be.

I am relatively good friends with his nephew. They own season tickets and attend matches at WHL together.

I'd find it hard to believe that he is anything but Blue considering where he grew up. Probably lives in London and attend games there but still Blue I believe. You could always settle this argument by asking your mate though.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Asked before. He says he's a Spurs fan, but I don't believe him.

From what people say on here, I have no doubts he's a Blue (although with a soft spot for them), just putting the cat amongst the pigeons, as most of the posts in this thread seem to imply that he'll do everything in our favour.

I can settle it right now for you all. Not once have I ever seen Bernstein wearing a kippah.

Always available for any help.
Thanks.

Bernstein began supporting Manchester City in 1954 and watched the 1956 FA Cup Final between City and Birmingham City even though as a Jew it coincided with the day of his Bar Mitzvah.

I thought the surname was somewhat of a giveaway...

really pleased for Mr Bernstein, he's an intelligent bloke who did a great and under rated job as our chairman. I met him once at Maine road as well and he is a very nice chap!
