I don't remember where I read it, but there was an article on this very subject. It basically said that we are the only team who train in public so to speak, which is why the press pick up on every incident. It wasn't a particularly pro City article either, it said that because City built something (can't remember what) without permission from the council, they in turn wouldn't let City fence off the training pitches. Can anyone else cast any light on it?

They very rarely use the privilege for anything positive about the club so fucl em.

But how can they ban freelance photographers from using a public footpath?

Hi Mr H, have you ever considered becoming City's very own, self appointed, 'Agent Provocateur' ??
When all the camera toting media morons come hanging round like a set of vultures, you could make an innocent sounding comment, in full earshot, to the effect of "Well, well, well, I wonder what Lionel Messi/Benzema/Kaka (or any other appropriate name) was doing meeting all the players and then training with them....did you see the cracking goal he scored earlier ?? ".
Such a story could make national headlines in the following day's papers until the journo hack responsible for the story, hopefully got chewed to pieces by his/her editor for, ostensibly making it all up.
On a cold winter's day this might provide a good degree of merriment for you, Mr H.

Ask Nigel de Jong to patrol the footpaths!

Douglas Higginbottom wrote:Trouble with that is most of the photographers are only after pictures and might have trouble stringing a sentence together. They come to take a picture of whoever is flavour of the day ( Bridge,Bellemy,Tevez,Mario etc etc) in the hope they will get a picture to which some hack can add a negative headline.
When they get to the training ground some don't know the one they are supposed to take a picure of! If I said Benzema was inside having talks most of them wouldnt have a clue who the hell he was.
