For us oldies though it was great to hear the Arsenal fans chanting "Boring, boring City"
The irony ..............

I can put up with this occasioanlly if we need to do it.

You don't even have to be an oldie to remember that FA cup final that Arsenal played against the rags, played for penalties and then won on them.

That mentality there is why we will win stuff and Arsenal will continue to win fuck all whilst moaning like bitches.

How many people on here slated Stoke for a lack of ambition yesterday?

I have had United fans in the pub slating us for not trying to chase them down
I have had City fans stating that trying to chase United tonight and losing, could have potentially left us 4 points of 2nd place and an uphill task to finish 2nd.
Of course the rags don't get it, they seem to think that winning the league now is the b all and end all for us....wheras I am sure many will agree that whilst we have a chance and it would be nice, next year is the one where we go all out for the league, 2nd place and guaranteed champions league group stage football will do very nicely and comes in ahead of the clubs plans for this season.
And besides, United will have a bad run at some point, they surely cant stay this lucky with such a poor team all season. Even they can't pull that off, so being a couple of points behind - with United having 2 awaygames in hand hardly leaves me quaking in my boots that it will turn into an 8 point deficit as rags seem to believe
