No, I liked him when he played for us, he was good at the time and with the team we had.
Now he would be 3rd in the pecking order behind Zaba and Richards. I also think Boateng has the ability to adpt to the Premiership and improve making him a better player than Corluka.

No. Slow as hell. Wonder why he's available Bish?

Yes. Can play him as a defensive midfielder. He can win the ball, pass and move. Reads the game well too.

I liked Charlie. He was a good player in an average team and his pen v Aalborg (?) in the shoot-out was class especially as he knew he was off. He may lack a bit of pace but he doesn't lack professionalism or balls.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

think that many on here used to refer to charlie as a rolls royce of a footballer...

technically great but a very poor athelete - i don't think that there is a player in the premier league with a more flat footed running style.....

a very big no from me.

I never understood why some people bummed him. Just seemed like a dopey lazy slow fucker who was always out of position and I dont think I ever saw him run at full pelt.

His level is Malaga or Everton

I would, he should never have been allowed to leave in the first place, but I wouldn't give those fuclers loads of money to get him not with the way twitchy deals and consistently has the knack of signing a bargain!

The jury is still out on Boateng but he has looked less than impressive especially with Zabba making consistent appearances. Richards for me maybe an ok squad player but he still makes too many simple mistakes to be a top class fullback, IMO there needs to be some more development to Micahs game before I would put him down as the number one right back.

He has the turning circle of an oil tanker, he has no pace and he can't displace Hutton from the Spuds team. Not got a lot going for him then has he. We don't need him either so it's not even a serious question.

I think the Bish should have his posting privileges taken off him for 24 hours.

I thought he was OK for us at the time. He's brilliant on the ball but a bit slow and turns like a tanker.

Still, he was more impressive than Boateng.

Was tempted to say I'd swap him for Boateng but then I remembered I'm trying to convince myself Jerome will improve and it' early days.

I liked him when he was here, it was sad to see him go. But it'd seem like a retrograde step now. And anyway, regardless of Boateng aside, Zab>Charlie.

PLUS Corluka runs like a proper weirdo, and we already have Adam Johnson doing that. Two players running like weirdos would be too much. Hope I'm not on my own on this, you know, that full pelt chicken elbows thing where the knees seem to be doing too much work, and the stride appears impossibly small.

I wouldn't want him back. Zabba in current form is brilliant, JB might come good if given time, and Richards aren't too shabby either.

It's really weird how everybody has seen reality now he belongs to another club. When he was still here many were still saying he was the best thing since sliced bread, like some still do SWP now.

Exactly. RB is arguably our strongest position depth-wise. Three good players and the oldest one is what, 26?

Not at all, really liked the guy but his slow shuffling running style gets found out far too often. Mad Zabs is a class above and Micah is a better option too

Not at all. Rather have Dunne or Superman to tell you the truth. Corluka deserted us when we needed him most. Sven had just gotten sacked and our ownership was unclear, but the moment he was gone all he could talk about how great Tottenham is!!

At least Dunne had wanted to stay. Fuck Corluka!!

He was better than we had then but not as good as we have now or can obtain from the transfer market.
