He's dire, terrible. The only thing he can do is hold the ball up every now annd then. I can only think 'shop window' but it's been a fucking long showing of the dummy. Also who's honestly take him on the wages he's on?, loan out at the best but feel we will be stuck with him for a long time yet. To think we loaned Bellers? he would have got the job done today.
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

RSC is on the move I'd say and Mancini won't want to risk him.

As for Nimely, he's completely unproven and had he played and we lost, Mancini would be lambasted for not treating the cup with enough respect.

Possibility of RSC going to another English club (Fulham/Venkyboys) probs means we didn't wanna cup tie him.

Nimley wouldn't have been a gamble mate..he has played for us a few times so its not like he would have been over awed against a fucking championship team is it...and if we had lost that would have more to do with the defence than having Nimley in Jo's position.

SWP played today and was even worse than Jo, which says a lot.

SWP was worse than him. Did nothing except lose the ball. He must know he's leaving, shame to say it, but not good enough anymore

True - ever since that prick of a Step Father stuck his nose in SWP got worse and worse.....I feel sorry for him really.

Must admit that as he was on the bench I thought Mancini might even think of giving him some playing time.

PS he has been fit all through Mancini's reign but he just doesnt fancy him.

Thats a pity to hear as hes got a bit of quality about him, certainly far more to offer the team than Jo.

I agree, so sad to see such a former blue hero fall so far, I honestly think this is largely down to the chelsea move, he just hasn't been the same since he left!

Sadly he's gotta go.

When SWP came back to City & scored those goals at Sunderland, how many of us would have thought he'd be getting completely outclassed by James Milner a couple of seasons down the line?

P.S. I thought there were quite a few players who did a worse job than Jo today, including Hart & all the defence bar Lescott.

I don't think so Ted. Jo was really really bad and gave the ball away constantly either by poor touch, being offside or simply passing the ball away. Somebody said that it was a shop window for him.If it was the numbers of potential buyers will have dropped to none I would think after the two games he has just played.I think it took 29 minutes before he did something right and that was to find a City player from about 5 yards.

Jo may have been Mancini's only option considering RSC and Adebayor haven't been on the
pitch in a coon's age.

I'm not saying Jo was anything other than utterly useless but a goalkeeper who can't catch the ball & a bunch of 6ft defenders who stand about & leave one bloke (Lescott) to defend corners on his own, time after time, were imo, much worse in the context of the game. I thought the whole bunch of them & Vieira were pathetic & derelicted their duties.

I know what you mean Ted even I disagree ,especially about Lescott for the goal.I just wonder about the corners/set pieces whether teams are working out the "zonal" system we are supposed to have or have we actually started to mix zonal with some markers.Whatever it is we are starting to look seriously vulnerable at any ball lobbed into the middle.

I actually though ,if anyone ,it was Boateng who let their guy the free header.

It seems to me like we may have a mixure of zonal & markers but Boateng can do neither & whether it's zonal or not, you still have to actually make an effort to attack the ball or block runs & move a yard or two. Kolarov also stands like a rabbit in a car's headlights when the ball comes in. Lescott is the only defender out of todays bunch who tries to attack the ball & if he misses it we've had it as nobody moves to cover. Vinnie, Micah & nowardays even Zabba usually try to do it & attack the ball. Balotelli is better at defending corners than Boateng or Kolarov though & that's not a joke.

I think the vulnerability you're talking about may be mainly when those people are playing.
