Are we to understand that the team Mancini was working with for tomorrow might be a little unconventional, or am I reading too much into your report Doug?

I don't see where I was suggesting anything like that. Does Mancini do unconventional? ( apart from picking Jo of course)

Yep, that's me reading too much into it then. I thought you might have been trying to tell us something with the "it might have been the team for tomorrow, it might not have" line. Oops.

'Shaun Wright-Phillips and Emmanuel Adebayor, both of whom want to leave City, appear not to figure in Mancini's thinking for tomorrow's game at Aston Villa. The two players were excluded when Mancini spoke to his squad about the match at the club's training ground today.'

Daniel Taylor in The Guardian.

They're at it again Doug.

"....Ivan got them playing hand ball and the pssisng game..."

Not too sure about this 'pissing game' Doug, I dont remember that when I played. Maybe an Italian thing?

On this zonal marking/corner business there's lots talked about it on telly etc, but at the end of the day if their bloke beats your bloke to the ball you're fucked.

Nice report, thanks

The Guardian have reported about Ade and SWP not being involved in the last part of training..........so keep remembering that you are being watched Doug, and start throwing some subversion in for good measure and lets have some fun with these media cunts

Edit to say, sorry Ted, didnt notice you'd already posted that.

The problem with zonal marking is your bloke doesn't have a bloke!

Would love to see that picture!! Plus I have a feeling the Villa game will be Nigel's first score.
