If I were Mancini, until they have good understanding to each other, I'll put Edin on the bench, and has him replace Tevez in the second half.

You don't spend £27M on a player then leave him on the bench without giving him a proper run out.

Who were the alternatives yesterday? Would you rather have seen Jo out there??

Brian Clough bought the first million pounds player = Trevor Francis

First match he sat him on the bench

Just saying like...

I don't like the way we set up. It seems we are trying to force Dzeko in and abandon the system which worked well for us.
If we play Dzeko and Tevez we need to play a flat 4-4-2 with two wingers.

Exactly, it wasn't Dzeko and Tevez's problem yesterday they had to come inside our own half just to let us know they were playing, we need some width and two wide men who will kick up chalk from time to time.

Silva, Dzeko, Tevez, AJ and if our two central midfielders can't hold their own in the middle then we need two who can. (Milner+deJong should muller anyone in the league)

The passing football we play doesn't mean that he can start dribbling as soon as he gets it. I'd rest him for the cup game next week. When he disappeared off to Argentina, city turned in some good games and Teves too upped his game coming back. We're being too nice accommodating his 'over achieving' ( ie dribbling too much) and being too harsh on other players .

There's not that much wrong with this team. Yesterday every deflection seemed to go for Villa. Tuesday we got some going for us ( eg Teves's first goal).

I would have gone for Milner yesterday rather than Barry, although he was damn unlucky with his header it seems the occasion was getting to him.

I also thought Kolarov had a very good game yesterday. It's a shame that a shoddy pass from Kolo lead to their one attack and the goal.

An odd post as they have only played together twice but more importantly it does not take into account what Bobby's plan seems to be to make them part of a three with Silva or Balotelli which allows for a great deal of movement sideways and dropping back. This will take time but has the potential for a real class attack.
It may be my last year as a season ticket holder as it just doesn't seem the same with so few English and local players (but I said that last year)
