blues2win wrote:Doug did it look like a sprained ankle? They come in all shapes and sizes depending on ligament damage. We saw that with Kolarov. Could be a couple of weeks could be six weeks. I guess they'll know more when the swelling's gone down.
Douglas Higginbottom wrote:Unless I read the above report/comments wrong I didn't see any direct quotes from City so maybe there is a chance that it won't be a long term injury and he might just miss 2 or 3 weeks. I also read on another forum a question about what the hell do they do in training to keep getting these injuries.
Well for one we don't keep getting inuries in training. There have actually been very few and second this one happened when there was nobody near the player. Somebody tried a reverse pass which basically hit AJ as he wasn't expecting it and it caught him off balance and he went over. Freak accident I would say.

In his first comeback when I saw him that was missing as he was getting back to fitness but this time I think he looks fitter and I have seen him starting to make runs past the front line. I wouldnt say actually lung bursting but promising and of course it's important when he does make a run that he can get back fairly quickly. I would say the signs are good.
