Another possibility is Charles Nzogbia from Wigan. Surely we could make an offer they couldn't refuse. We'll have to pay over the odds whoever it is.

N,Zogbia is a good shout but given as Aston Villa have just spent dosh they don't have I'd put in a cheeky bid for Albrighton.

Ankle ligament damage by any chance as that what i have done and its been a nightmare.

I was worried when it happened it was a bad one just because of everybody's reaction.

I have had muscle problems and a fractured wrist but this ankle problem is by far and away the worse i have had. It affects everthing and the thought of kicking the ball with my laces makes me feel a tad sick.

The other player that did it for City Ladies was out for 13 weeks. Im sure Jono will have around the clock care though so fingers crossed he can be back soon but hearing 3 months is no suprise.

Two other possibilities are Eden Hazard of Lille and a guy called Santi Cazorla of Villareal mentioned on Blue Moon as being on our scouts list ( probably a long one).

If we pay a decent sum plus the wages we could get at least a quality loan.

It might be a bit of a panic buy if we go into the market so late.

Great chance for Jo to make the left wing position his own ;)

Who could ever have predicted that we would have problems if we got a couple of injuries to attacking players? I for one would never for one second thought that any of our creative players could get injured. I'm sure there's no way Bob could have forseen this & done something to prevent it being a problem. I'm sure we'll be fine if Tevez gets injured too. It's not as if Balotelli is likely to suffer any further injuries or complications once he recovers from the latest one that's on the same knee he's had problems with since we signed him.

If the worst comes to the worst, I'm sure we can compete in 3 competitions with Jo & SWP. They'll never let us down.

I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Dries Mertens, FC Utrecht. Too green for us to rely on, but come on as a sub and totally change a game around. Small and quite weak, but with great balance and pace and most of all a technique that AJ would be jealous of. We'd probably get him fairly cheap too and I'm certain that he would be OK with being a bit part player for a season or two.

I gather from that statement that you weren't reading the many posts that were on here about the subject predicting this very situation in August?

I'd settle for a 32 year old loan signing with a decent cross on him now tbh.

Cavanni, Young, Mata in that order for me. But I doubt we'll see anymore players coming in this window. [strike]Typical[/strike] I mean, unfortunate fucking City. Just when we were getting a settled side.

Bob quote:

"We've lost Adam for three months," Mancini said. "He's possibly out for the rest of the season or maybe back for the FA Cup final. It's the same injury [Aleksandar] Kolarov suffered earlier this season and it's a big problem for us."

Brian Marwood, City's football administrator, is an admirer of Ashley Young and has been monitoring his position closely at Aston Villa. Alexis Sanchez, Udinese's Chile international, is another option, but Mancini admitted he was not optimistic. "We've got only 24 hours left in the transfer window and we will try to do something, but in 24 hours it will be very difficult."

Mancini went on to say City would not try to hijack Chelsea's proposed move for Fernando Torres now they know the Liverpool striker wants to leave Anfield. Torres was regarded as City's plan B in case they failed to complete a deal for Edin Dzeko from Wolfsburg but there is no desire to bring in both players. "If we take another player it will be a winger," the manager said.

So we're after a winger. Like the FaC final bit!

Will be a big miss for us. I'd class Johnson as one of our match winners (Tevez and Silva being the only other two) the way he can score a goal from pretty much a nothing area wide on the right wing is a great ability. He's also one of the few players at our club that shoots on target.

Get well soon Adam.
