him and the players need to have a look at themslves and sort it out or we are going to blow 4th place. the negative tactics have to stop. we cant go to the swamp in a few weeks and play for a draw. i will be gutted if we do.
Its been mentioned on here a few times that "if we don't finish 4th, he'll be sacked anyway" and such like...
That's all well and good, but we HAVE to finish 4th. This isn't about fucking Mancini, this is about City. Its about keeping the top players who no doubt will not coninue at a club that is not challenging for the top honours.
If top players start leaving and we're not in the champs league or challenging for the title, then this famous "project" is in the shits.
Good thing is then that we are still very much sitting in top 4.
By the skin of our teeth, but I think we were sitting there at times last season too and look what happened there.
To be honest, it doesn't feel like we're doing much better than this stage last season. Maybe we are, but I have the same feeling now that I had on towards the run in last season.
Obviously you're very confident about it. Amazing how the times change.
This time last year Mancini was already manager.
And yeah, I trust Mancini to sort these things out and I believe we'll make it to top 4. Will we guarantee our place there final day or just cruise there, I don't know but I'm confident we'll do it.
That's the sort of trust proper football manager creates.
Also, we are 5 points ahead of 5th placed Tottenham (they have game in hand though) and 9 points ahead of Sunderland in 6th place. The way I see it, it's 5 horse race right now and we are in good position.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?
