Draw... Always hipe for a draw when two competitors of ours meet. Simple math, 1 point to each = 1 point less total into the table. If they draw both matches vs each other and we win both ours those weekends we'll have gained 4 points on both, much better than 3 or 0 on one of them.

However if I had to choose I'd take Utd wins as I think 1st-2nd is a fight between arsenal and them while 3rd-4th is between us, spurs and chelsea. So rather have our direct competitor drop points. If Chelsea loose two more and we don't collapse only spurs can beat us to 3rd a d 4th is guaranteed IMO.

This. Both drop points, we can push forward in our CL spot run, plus we also can shorten the distance from the top. You never know what's going to happen in the following weeks, after all, so until maths rule us out...

Title race is well and truly over unfortunately. Chelsea getting beat is what it's all about, though with spurs on our backs we could do with them dropping points too.

It's not over until maths says so, the way I see it.

fair play to you. what i should have said was 'our title race is over' i still believe arsenal can do it. you have to beat your rivals to win the title at least once in the season imo. in my mind we don't deserve to win the title becase we have failed to do this.

4th means everything. Absolutely EVERYTHING. This has been confirmed by the hierarchy.

It doesn't feel right, but either a draw or United win has to be the call surely?

The only hope of the rags not winning the title IMO is down to Arsenal. But I'm all about us first of course. AARGH!!! Ok, draw I suppose :)

If they all draw every game against each other it will do me. A draw for them v the Mickeys would do me as well because the sickening feltching of Dalglish's arse & talk of top 4 just because of a couple of mediocre performances, reminds me how raglike their whole operation is.

There is not any scenario where I could be convinced that United winning a game is in any way beneficial to us.

If we can't finish 4th on merit, then we don't fucking deserve it. Simples.

I also think that Chelsea chasing us down right to the last day would be a good thing for the players in terms of experiencing true pressure. This would stand us in good stead for the future, as being top of the league at this stage of the season is the easy bit, staying top through a sustained period of pressure when all behind you are winning every game is precisely what seperates the likes of Chelsea and United from the likes of Liverpool, Newcastle for example over the years.

My love for City is bigger than my hatred for United. The best result for City would be if United hammer Chelsea.

Chelsea or the draw for me, not that it makes much difference whatever the result is. We screwed up by dropping 2 points at home, thats the key issue here not what others do ... or don't do

IF we didn't drop 2 points against Fulham, IF we didn't lose the away derby, IF we had attacked them in the home match, IF we had won at Sunderland instead of losing etc etc etc, It should always be about what we do, not other teams

Horse shit! Rags v Chelsea 2 matches to go. We are top by 4 points, in front of Chelsea, in second, with 1 match to play. Chelsea 4 points behind us 2 games to play. Rags is Chelseas game in hand and Rags need to consolidate their mid table position. City and Chelseas goal difference is the same. If the Rags beat Chelsea they hand the title to us. We have Chelsea to play on the last day of the season knowing if they beat the Rags they are a point behind us with us to play.

Unlikely granted, but I give you a circumstance where rags win = fine by me. Its all about City baby!!!

This positions on merit stuff is rubbish. Teams beat other teams around us, it happens. It doesn't mean we won't be there on merit. Its means other teams won't be there because they couldn't win their matches.
