I still don't get why any City fan would want them getting any glory by reaching a final.

I'd taken Bolton in the final!

Heard them talking on the radio about Lofthouse playing in the trotter's last final (FA Cup) and how fitting it would be for them to get back there this year. With the same situation for us and Nelly, it would be a nice side story to the final.

However, assuming we both get through the 1/4s, I think the FA's hot ball approach might try to set up a Manchester Derby for the final. That would add a lot of interest both here and abroad to a competition which seems to get kicked from all sides.

There would be something very, very nice about beating them in a final. However, I don't think I could take the stress of the day, so I hope they get a replay today and then taken apart at the Emirates.

Arsenal could take the league from the scum, would probably be more chance if they only have the league to concentrate on. They are also playing spurs in a few weeks.

I want arse to play as few games as possible if it means they beat spurs and the scum, taking the league from them and helping us secure CL next year.

Would you prefer the scum having the glory of being the losing side in the FA cup final or having the glory of winning the league???

My love of city far outways my hate for the scum and every little helps.

Bolton took out a team we usually struggle vs, let's hope Arsenal can take out Utd then we have great chances of getting to the final I reckon!

Things have really fallen into place in this tournament for us, atleast so far:-) Fingers crossed!

I definitely fancy an Arsenal win after seeing the team sheets

Seeing that lineup i'd say fergie knows arse staying in this comp will distract them from the league.

He should be fucking fined for not putting out his strongest side

I hope to see united get destroyed. Both the Brazilian bum boys and no real attack

If arsenal lose this, I can see us finishing above them in the league. Any morale they have left will be stomped out. But just hoping for a draw with a few players to pull up today

I'd prefer neither. Spot on about City mind, thats all I really care about, too much so to speculate which opponent we may or may not get/want in any final.

Amazing tactic from whisky nose. No talent at all in the middle but just run run run.Hope the defence holds out then bring some skill on later and win one nil. Surely it can't work can it?

Can anyone please remind me last time we strung together a move like Utd just did? Honestly cannot think of any time we had that many passes (most of them good vision too) and a goal at the end... Sure we have some time but seems ages ago with the piss poor last few passes we've seen as of late.

From a neutral perspective it is not bad to be able to create a goal like that with a midfield equivalent of:
Boateng - Kompany - Zaba - Kolarov

Arsenal have degenerated into the London version of City. What a load of tippy tappy shite.

I take that back, there was a shot.

I think you're being clever and drawing comparisons between the criticism of City and Arsenal's current predicament, but you fail to see the obvious.

We aren't like Arsenal in this game, we're like the rags.
