Anything which is not the norm and upsets the applecart is never welcome at any club - especially one that is so used to getting away with this sort of shit.

No, this is a good thing. It certainly does "make a difference". How much, time will tell, but this is a mediocre team punching above their weight IMO and things such as this will upset them.

i disagree...this Rags team is running on fumes. This just gives them a couple more "us vs the world" bullets in their fucking gun which we don't need them to have.

touchline bans are fucking retarded and outdated. ban them from the entire fuclin joint then we'll see some people get religious about shit. This sitting 15 feet away in the stands bollox is horseshit.

i was hoping they would go for the death penalty, but that's just the Ugly American in me.

Just shows what a joke the FA are when Demento saying a few words is deemed more worthy of investigating & punishment rather than Rooney clumping opposition players round the head with a forearm smash!

They have been a joke it´s true , but perhaps these are DB´s first tentative steps to reversing the trend. In the Shrek and other cases it was the refs bottling it a lot of the time. With a 5 game ban maybe, just maybe the cowardly Atkinsons and Cnutenburgs of this world may get some respite from the whisky nosed one and start to lose the fear of him and grow a pair after a friendly word in their shell likes from Mr B offering full backing if they stand up to the twat

Is there a limitation on where he can sit, ie. can he sit just behind the dug-out?

Will he be allowed to lead the scum out at Wembley, or is that just the final?

With any luck he'll be dead by then. Or if not dead then in the middle of an extremely painful illness that results in death.

This cnuts not daft,he knows how to play the "game". Every match during his ban the referees will fall over themselves to book non rag players just to prove that they're being fair. job done ! Expect a City sending off in the first minute at wembley. Man's an arsehole but he's good at it (Twat).

Well overdue this ban, just surprised he somehow did not manage to bend the rules once again to avoid the ban.

Just feel the punishment is not suffice, he's been intimidating the fa officials for years and getting away with it.Sitting him up in the stands for the remainder of the season with a straight jacket and a gag would be a more suitable punishment.

If anything at least he wont have the opportunity to get in the ears of any officials on semi final day so has to be seen as a plus.
