Didn't think of that. Good shout (plus I've never been there and really wanna go).

Semi-Finals should be played at nuetral grounds and the Final and only the Final should be played at Wembley like it used to be back in the day when i went to Villa Park in 81.

Agree with this.

There're actually relatively few countries with designated national-team stadiums. Even fewer have them in their capital cities, and even fewer still are for the exclusive (or near-exclusive) use of the national football team and for cup finals. Wembley is pretty much an unnecessary luxury on all fronts.

It used to be considered an absolute honour and privilege to play at Wembley, only for the few. Now it's open for any Tom, Dick or Harry via the division three play-offs ffs.

Cup finals and competitive Internationals .............

I think that's really funny because Multiplex is based in Western Australia and I used to supply them with building materials.

as someone who owned shares in the company at the time I accept responsibility.

I think you're all daft. I'd like to see the first match drawn from round 3 onwards played at Wembley. Add a bit of extra spice to the draw. And yes, both semis too. You've got this wonderful stadium, USE IT!!

The share price tanked and the company nearly went bankrupt over it.

I'd be blaming the lazy local tradesman and labourers.

Point taken.

But my point still stands I feel. While we may hold those players in some kind of high regard for what they achieved on that day, they were hardly the footballing luminaries who should expect to be playing at such a prestigious venue.

One of the main complaints about Cardiff was it's poor accessibility. Shit train service and not good transport links in general.
City and sniffing knickers.

Yep tbh I wasn't disagreeing with you, just pointing out for many city fans, that is the rare decent day out we've had.
