BoltOn have been a disaster, but the way these teams give the ball away cinsistently means we really should piss all over them.

Just like we did in the FA Cup last year? Or any of our last three visits to the Brittania?

In Mancini we trust.

Would have much preferred to play Bolton in the final... I can see Stoke beating us with a fucking Delap throw in again.

Would have preferred Bolton, our recent record against Stoke is not good. On a plus it should mean we are not complacent as we don't normally beat them

I think this means we play Stoke in the league 3 days after the final. Somebody will be wanting revenge. Let's hope it's not us.

I have two concerns. First we're playing a huge game against Spurs a few days before the Cup Final which isn't ideal preparation. Second is the danger of complacency. To be honest though if Mancini can't get the team up for the FA Cup final he really should get the sack. Never mind our crap recent record at the Britannia we're a far better team and we're not playing there.

Class will tell. Have faith guys. This is our year.

Watched the game today, not worried one jot about our cup final opponents.

Bolton did not even turn up today. They gave it to Stoke without a fuss.

The nice wide Wembley pitch does not suit Stoke though, on the rare occasion Bolton got width, Stoke looked troubled. Delaps long throws also were mostly nullified purely by the increased distance he has to try and throw.

Make the play nice and spread out and our quality will shine through against Stoke.

Have to agree there, I read the scoreline earlier and thought "oh fuck" , then I watched the game highlights and goals and it was a fucking joke what Bolton did there. We might have scored even more than Stoke there.

Bolton: Jaaskelainen, Steinsson, Cahill, Knight, Robinson, Petrov, Elmander, Muamba, Chung-Yong, Klasnic, K Davies

Can sb explain to me what the fuck went through Coyle's head there? ONE midfielder? Are you fucking kidding me? No wonder they got murdered.

It's also interesting to note that if City win the Cup, Stoke, to get into Europe, will want City to finish 4th...

AJ probably a better bet than Balotelli to start since we'll want some width. Also need Kolarov and Richards bombing forward when they can. I'm also a bit worried about Stoke targeting Balo's temper with their physical approach. Keep him as sub.

Based on the highlights, Bolton were absolutely woeful, absolutely shit themselves anytime a Stoke player got near them.

Stoke in Europe is going to be piss funny.

If we do win, and I'm only saying if, then guess who we'll be playing at Wembley again in August in the Charity Shield. Could become a regular thing this Wembley lark!

That is fucking brilliant... I wonder if they would actually let us win then?

The only way Stoke get bumped from Europe is if we win the cup and finish 6th. They won't be bothered whether we're playing in the Champions League (4th) or Europa League (5th) next season.
"Certainly our programme is a full one, but as a player and as a manager I've always felt that there is only one way to go into a season...and that's to try to win every game.... While we are in four major competitions we shall try to win four major competitions." - Joe Mercer
