1730 hrs: The games been half and half so far but BBFlop nearly put that one away, twice! Lucky we've got England's number 1.

1740 hrs: They've been on top for the last 10 minutes or so and the crowd have gone a little quiet. Is it going to be another one of those days; I hope not.

PS. Still not heard the Rag crowd though, are they actually here?

Gaz Baz had had his effort into the side netting round about now, and just for half a second.............

1742 hrs: Just had a look over to the bench and Mancini's at the edge of his area barking at the team to push it up from the back. The crowd's just lifted and a couple of songs are sung with gusto.

1745 hrs: Mancini's up again and he doesn't look happy. Bonus though, BBFlop has just got it in the face - First Blood to City!

1746 hrs: The Bosses words must've had an impact as the ball scuffs under Mario and with a quick turn from Barry (never thought I'd say that), he shoots into the side netting. Big sighs but at least we're getting possession and chances.

All in my head mate, honest ;-)

1750 hrs: OMG, what a fucking strike from Mario, vdS' fingers must be stinging. We're on the up and we the crowd know it. The anticipation is growing, those boys want it, just like us.

Fucking hell, again! Lescott's just put it over from the corner. Come on, one's gotta catch boys!

To us all pal. If I could shift the girlfriend off the sofa watching Holby City, I'd quite enjoy watching the second half again myself. Without it, a lot of it is a blur. A very satisfying blur nonetheless

Ahhhh half time, the period where I went from still smelling slightly of deodorant to stinking of fags for the rest of the night. As a non-smoker it didn't half remind me of what pubs and other outings used to be like before the ban

Well aware I'll be in the minority on here but I almost felt sick after 5 minutes of queueing in those toilets

Ha ha ha, you're right there pal. I'm a smoker but that was just beyond a joke. I was too worried about being kicked out so I decided to wait. The piss smelt a bit dodgy too.

Anyway:

1803 hrs: Half time. Well, what can I say, it had everything that half. Hope, fear and confidence all within 1 half of football, but at all times, keeping the faith. Time for a pint and I've got to say that Wembley Stadium's catering and experience is excellent. The staff are all thoroughly corteous and even the entrance staff had a laugh with us, even the Arsenal fans!

T'was a welcome break though and you could literally see the lads and girls re-grouping with lots of loud songs and chants that really raised the spirits. I suppose the beer helped but to be truthful, I think we'd have done the same without it. I real party atmosphere and it was funny to see a young lad (about 18) trying to get through the crowd with his dad draped over his shoulder. Definately had one to many wine gums that one. Time for a quick lash then back into the stadium to see the 2nd half with renewed faith after the last 15. We'd showed them and they knew they were now in for a game.

Let's hope that BBFlop doesn't find his shooting boots at half-time eh?

1821 hrs: Well I'm back in my seat looking down at a load of dirty Rags. Where's our team, is it a tactic or are the boys getting a rollicking off the Boss?

It's good to look up at that score board and see our crest as the home team, it just seems to give us that edge.

1823 hrs: He're they are, thank God for that, I thought they'd given up the ghost ;-) Must've been some half-time team talk from the Boss, let's see how it pans out.

Come On City!!!

1828 hrs: Oooohhhh, that's gotta hurt AJ, go on son, rub it off. We've started how we left the 1st half, on the front foot. Keep it up guys.
