I think I'll just sit back quietly in my seat, all contented-like. I'll watch the old 'uns like me enjoying the moment the good times started again for Manchester City, then laugh with the young 'uns who've never seen us win owt as they celebrate being at the start of something marvelous. A few years ago the New York Rangers won the Stanley Cup for the first time in decades and as the seconds ticked down to the victory there was a bloke in the crowd at Madison Square Garden holding up a sign that said "Take Me Now God, I Can Die Happy."
I love this wonderful old football club, and I believe the Sky Blues will win the Cup on Saturday in an exhibition of flowing football that Wembley has not seen in many a year.
