If this is the first final of many to come i hope the feeling never dulls and we all get the buzz each and every time!

Afternoon Blues. New Member and so not sure how to introduce myself to all this forum business. Just turned 40 so could trawl through some grim and not so grim tales of my days watching the likes of Steve Kinsey and Gerry Gow etc. Off to Wembley tomorrow with my 8 year old lad who has obviously been born into a different (not necessarily better) era!!

Reason for this post was to put this little possible chant into everyones minds to the tune of "Hi Ho" (Seven Dwarves and all that). Here goes:-

"Hi ho, hi ho, the Champions League we'll go,
With Yaya, Silva and Dzeko,
Hi Ho, hi ho, hi ho, hi ho.....(return to start)"

Long drawn out Hiiiiiiii, hooooooooo at the start for dramatic effect??

You heard it hear first.....lets get it roaring round Wembly tomorrow!! Come on City!!

Working tonight, until the early hours...not a lot of sleep, then up early to pick up Kuwait and off to watch the game.

We have only been able to dream about times like this for far too many years...DREAMS CAN AND DO COME TRUE.

Had a bad case of the Brad Pitts earlier and I could put it down to nothing other than nerves.

I'm fine now, little bit of butterflies and I can't say its confidence because Stoke are such an unpredictable shower of shitbags... I think its just like the feeling you get when you sit into a scary-as-shit rollercoaster and the steel bars go click.

There's no turning back and no point wondering what's going to happen - just enjoy the whole ride and hope you're still alive at the end of it :)

Now, let's see some real stuff going on. It's a 'rally cry' thread, not a fucking 'nervous weeping' thread!

Not a bad song that.

I just have to get through the next 5 or 6 hours, then off to bed, get up at 7am, 6 olde Englishe time and it's all ok then, I'm travelling or drinking til the game starts

I keep thinking that the odds must be about 60/40 in our favour at best, and it makes me feel sick, that's a fucling huge 40 to have your dreams and hopes and happiness resting against!
