He's out of contract. Thats not leaving them in the lurch.

They also hardly gave him a break. They were happy to give him a one year deal knowing fine well it was a short term appointment and he would be off to a bigger club when the oppertunity arose.

Bollox Ross. They gave him the chance to manage again in the top division and he doesn't want to carry on after just one season?! Fulham were left in the shite when Hodgson fucled off to the dippers and Lesley should have shown more loyalty but he's a devilworshippin, rag bastard, so what more should we expect I suppose. Wherever he ends up, I hope he fails miserably and I hope his kids walk backwards. And he can shove his Taffia up his rag arsehole.

Phew, glad I got that off me birds nest.

He was given a one year contract and to the best of knowledge he wasnt offered another one. I am not sure what he has done that is so wrong.

If he had a contract for next year and was breaking it I'd get your point but he's a free agent and can do as he wishes.

Do you really believe he was not offered a new contract?. Why on earth would he not be offered one? Were Fulham anticipating that they may get someone better?

Not really. Never was one of the 'Hughes Out/Hughes Bitters' crowd.

Surprised nobody's mentioned Chelsea until now: wasn't he considered by them before he came to us? Also, isn't he a Chelsea fan? I'd be really surprised if that's who they plumped for, though.

Yeah he was supposed to be very highly rated at Chelsea the summer he came to us, but I'd be amazed if they went with a British manager. Would be interesting to see how he would get on.....if the defence held up, he could play his suicide football and they would be good to watch.

Chelsea could do worse than Les.........would have liked to have seen what he could do with us with a decent defence in place

Can't exactly blame him. Villa are a far better club, bigger stadium, better players, more money and some up and coming youngsters. Who wouldn't take that over Fulham?

As far as I'm aware the loopy Egyptian got stung a few years back having to pay compo for sacking a manager and he's been issuing 1 year rolling contracts ever since, even Woy was on the same which is why he could easily walk to Liverpool.

According to Fulham they had a 2 year contract with a clause that allowed either side to give 1 month notice on the 1st June - hes taken this option same as Fulham could have done too, so see no issues there.

One othe the T&C's is that he cannot be aproached or speak to another club until the 30th June - so no club can rf

They may have lost two good managers in twelve months, but at least they've got a garish statue of Michael Jackson.

Was talking about this in work today and it got me thinking, what if Harry went to Chelsea, Hughes off to Spurs?

Is that on KFAQ days, or would you expand it into a Neverlandesque perma-structure?

Sounds, a bit off the wall.

Paid less for him than the £50M Chelsea paid for theirs.

SSN just reported that Villa aren't interested in Les. Unless he has something else lined up or SSN are talking bollocks, this could be funny!

This. Who gives a monkeys chuff where Hughes is going, what he is doing etc. Dont like him, dont hate him, quite frankly dont think anything of him either way. As he's no longer our manager he is of little or no concern to us.

That'd make sense. First as Taggart's number two and then when he gets that final heart attack bring Taffia in full force. They'd be fucking scary considering how good his teams are in second part of the season. In fact, FA/Premierleague might scrap first 19 games altogether. I mean what's the point?
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?
