I dont think money is the issue as Tevez could go back home now and live like a king for the rest of live.

I haven't watched it, but perhaps he meant 'no money to pay the transfer fee', at least that would make sense.

I've always wondered what sort of % cut he makes off Tevez' annual wage - 10%, 25%, 50%?

If he stays, I don't think Mancio can take the Captaincy from him ?

Part of me thinks we should get rid of Tevez and his baggage now while we can still get a shitload of money for him (hopefully) and get Aguero or someone else of that caliber in. Because this shit will come up again, and again and again.

What decision? He made it two years ago when he signed a five year contract.

Kia was just on ssn and pretty much said the same. Any problems he had with the club were sorted in dec and absolutely wants to stay.. The one thing he did say was that tevez is trying to get his family to move to manchester!

How could she resist?

Has he signed a new contract yet?

It`s all too coriagraphed for me. He`s been told he has a contract and that the little iranian typhoid bug that represents him is in way over his head so they`ve got Mr PR himself in to sort it out.

I ws listening to the World Football phone in on 5 live about an hour ago. In answer to a question, South Amwerican expert Tim Vickery mentined that tevez has apparently made a statement on Argentina that he would honour his contract in manchester but when it ends, he never wants to see manchester again, not even for an holiday.

I get the feeling that our Calitos would like to get his arse out of here but is stuck where he is by his contract and the fact that either, we are holding him to it or that nobody can afford his price and wages.

Either way, it is time to view Tevez as he should have been viewed from the start; An excellent footballer, who will always give his utmost, but treats it like a job.
I can respect that.

Agree 100% with that John....I love it as much as anyone when players fall in love with the club (a la Nigel, Vincent, Zabba even) but I can wholly appreciate that for most it's a job. If I were a footballer I actually wouldn't want to fall in love with any club I played for because one day you will be for the door one way or the other....and when that happens (a la Nedum) it must be properly shit.
