Villas Boas is similar nutter to Jose but also seems to share his brain for football tactics. I predict he'll do well.

He could do very well but if it was the other way around & we were the 'old guard' with a new, big, powerful club breathing down our necks as City are doing to them, I don't think we'd feel comfortable choosing that moment to find out whether a young manager can hack it in the Prem or not. If he fucks up (which I hope he does) it could put Chelsea way behind us for years to come. If Hiddink was going there I'd be confident they'd give us a right battle all season. This bloke may do, but he may just as easily crack up under pressure.

I wasn't really saying that he's ideal appointment for them but it seems that Villas Boas is the best they can do right now especially if they have been unsuccesfull in their hunt for Hiddink.
May this also serve as a remainder to all of us that it's easy to say sack this manager and sack that manager when things aren't going well but you also have to look what is in offer out there. World class managers don't grow on trees.
