There's difference between being small and lightweight. Silva is small but not lightweight ie he can ride tackles. Robinho is small and lightweight ie drops down like (very small) bag of shite from slightest of touch. Aguero is definitely former.

Oh yes, and there are relatively big/tall players who are "lightweight" imo out there.

I would be over the moon with either Nasri or Aguero both are young and are really talented players in their own right.Signing either would be a huge coup for the club.

Good post by the way NQDP.The examples you chose backed up your arguement really well.

Aguero is about as lightweight as Francis Lee.

Savic set for medical
Skysports.com can confirm that Stefan Savic has arrived in England and is due to undergo a medical at Man City.
There's only one mancity and one mancityfans.net

At the end of last season, Mancini said we need to bring in four or five young players. We're pretty active in this regard on the quiet & I really like it. One or two more may show up after this lad I recon.

Young players should be the lifeblood of any club - as long as they progress, of course. This season, we should see if Boyata is going to be good enough. I really hope so, because, with the exception of bargains like Clichy, we can't keep paying tens of millions every time we need a new player.

I recon our academy will become spectacular over the coming years. We are going to revolutionise the whole thing & be the standard which others in this country will try to reach.

Now in the UK for a medical with us according to SSN
"If we fire our manager after just one bad season - We'll become Chelsea"
"If we think we can fix the problem by buying expensive players - We'll become City"
"If we remember the good times to entertain us during the bad times - We'll become Liverpool"

So, keep calm and do it the United way

"We invest in young players, That is what we are good at — we’re not like other clubs who can spend fortunes on proven goods. We know that Manchester City are going to pay stupid money, pay silly salaries and all that. We can’t do anything about it. We concentrate on what we can do to try to bring players in for the right reasons. We invest in those who will be with the club for a long time, who will create the character of the club, who will create excitement for our fans. We are very proud of that and we are going to continue that way" - Alex Ferguson 14th May 2012
