The fact they are great value is not in doubt, the fact that a fancy gold box through the post warrants extra sheckles is ... imo

Due to the STs being such great value, think of it as a freebie, a gesture from the club. :)

Hope my doesn't come in a gold box as I paid for platinum.

One of the best things for me about this years renewal is being able to enter auctions for goodies. Childish, I know but it is something different.

I only went platinum for the double points so i dont get left behind am i arsed that im getting laces,a badge and a DVD in a box?

Indeed, the 'double points' bollox is the real knife-twister. Theoretically after following City for 30+years some new fan can come along and have a better 'loyalty' score than me after a couple of seasons .... that makes me feel great about our 'new' club, still all personal choice and all that, its the add-on bollox that I'm not a fan of tbh, hence why I'll just stick to the Gold thingybobwotsit

I would of gone Gold no doubt and saved my cash but for reason stated the knife was twisted and it worked.

Yeah don't worry.
I have mine and my dad doesn't have his yet. It's happened like this every year where mine comes a few days / a week before his.
Both Gold members. Been a season ticket holder since 1995, and this year is the first year I'm not on the cup scheme since it was introduced so points aren't really an issue.

Just got mine through and I think they're having me off. Just tried the webcam thingy'me'jig with my SC and nothing happened. I think they're just trying to make me look a twat (not hard really).

Like the book though, brought back quite a few memories and got me looking forward to the new season. Another one for the City Scrap box, think I may have to upgrade to a room soon, memorabilia getting everywhere.

Mine arrived this morning. City have gone out of their way with the packaging...DVD, laces (!), nice booklet, memory stick, badge, all in a nice box. Remarkable. City do so many things so right these days, a million miles from the shambles decades.

Mine arrived this morning redirected by Royal Mail from my old address despite the fact that I changed my address with the club a couple of weeks ago, doesn't bode well for my lads' cards as their names are not on the redirect :-( City must have printed of the address labels a few weeks ago.

Going to have to pop to the old house with very crossed fingers!
