The Scousers would undoubtedly put Lucas in the SHITE team, we would offer Castillo surely?

Don't think Forlan was a flop, just didn't blossom until he left the swamp. Decent prem player.

By no means the biggest South American flop but I really meant in comparison to the strides he's made in Spain to become a great player, he struggled over here.

When you see Premier League newcomer and think that "I'm in pretty smashing shape myself after all", it makes you wonder. Maybe Allardyce thought he was just "big-boned" like he himself.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

good one. what the fucking hell happened to him. his goal scoring record was amazing at porto and galatasary (think it was them)

just looked up his stats on wikipedia..... he scored 183 goals in 174 league games in portugal (130 in 125 for porto & 53 in 49 for sporting). that's a ridiculous record.....

went down hill fast after he left sporting.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C3%A1rio_Jardel

I always took anything south of the united states as not being in North America, perhaps i am wrong geographically but not on the player ability :-)

I assume you were questioning Nery!!

Has Faustino Asprilla been mentioned yet? One of the most memorable for me...

Yep I had Asprilla up front with Tevez on page one.

Antonio Valencia hasn't been mentioned yet. Also, Hamilton Ricard enjoyed reasonable success at Boro.

If we're including Central America, what about Maynor Figueroa and The Chope?

Cacapa was a good player in France with Lyon when they were in Europe's Top 8...

But when he signed with Newcastle and knowing what kind of player he is, I knew he'll be one of the worst defender in the history of Premier League.

He was actually really good last season. Stepped up hugely after Mascherano left (he'd be a contender for the best XI).

Not sure on Asprilla being in the best. No doubting that he had talent but isn't he widely considered one of the main reasons newcastle blew their lead at the top of the premier league?

On the worst team you put the Rag twin twats at right and left back. Or even Aurelio at LB?
