Chelsea are in London.

City have never claimed to be a Massive club - that was a once witty Man Utd invention. But we are loyal. But how many times can the same 35k keep shelling out for season tickets, Cup games, aways, and Wembley.

And City's selling regime doesn't help. Can'y buy in person, and only just gone on sale to those with purchase history, but because they have to send them by post, they can only be on "general sale" for a week. Had they gone on general sale earlier they would have sold out by now. Might still sell out.

OK, I see the points that you're making, but are you suggesting that, for instance, if Sunderland, Everton or even Forest had won the FA Cup, they'd not be selling out the Charity Shield?

I didn't realise about the selling regime, which appears to be designed to be a pain in the backside.

The only team that regularly sells out the Charity Shield are Utd.

Spoke to my mate who's a Red (one of the rarer breed, ie a Manc who actually goes to the matches) and Utd have sold all theirs.

If we leave loads of empty seats it will be highly embarrassing to say the least.

There will be twice as many of our fans travelling from Manchester as theirs. Not one of the rags I know is going. 1 they.can't be arsed & 2 if they could,.they're scared of reprisals from the beating up of families handed out by their comrades.

Apparently not. And it's this eagerness to avoid Scum fans buying our tickets which is scuppering the chance of us selling out.

There are always empty seats. Some of the rag allocation will belong to touts hoping to sell packages to Irish Norwegians.

Our family (6 of us, with two young children) are not going with the trouble experienced in semi. Very poor police actions who just stood bye and watched. Will be trouble again I'm sure

Sales from the Ticket Office in person from Weds. Still loads left by the sound of it (all categories still available). I might get tickets for friends / family if they fancy it

Will get their come uppance for once. Whereby the corporate food served up ( and for which you have to pay ) is actually pretty shitty and expensive.

So it's great that City fans can pay normal prices for a non event that could and should have been held at Old Trafford. That way we could have really taken them to the cleaners on their own turf....

I'm meeting a guy i've known for 30 odd years. He's a red. so what ? he's a great guy. He's flying in from New York, I'm flying in from Zürich. We're going to have a laugh whatever happens ... and a few beers and a great time without our wives.

I would like to sell our allocation to show support for our owner who has invested in us. A matter of principle. This game is more important than away games in the league etc and is a 3 line whip in my view. Granted, many people I know are away on holiday and we all know that 99% of utd's end will be full of southerners or foreigners. Look at their pathetic parade. However lets get behind the Blues. Aguero's debut is enough motivation!

The tickets are cheap and the day can be done on a tight budget.

Supporting the lads at the game is what it's all about. Luckily I'm in Manc and can do that easily
